Stupid house...stupid Florida

Needless to say, after checking the breakers, the A/C is broken. It is SOOOOO hot in here and I'm really uncomfortable. It's supposed to get down to the high 70's tonight so we have all of the windows open but it's muggy. Blech! Plus since we will have all of the windows open, I will be sleeping on the floor in K's room with her because we can't turn on the alarm. That's not going to help with the hip/back pain.

Have to wait until Monday to call for a repair. I absolutely refuse to pay extra just because it's a weekend.

Boy, the heat really effects me. I'm one grouchy mama

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Boy do I ever sympathise with you, being pregnant with Claudia those last 2 mths of summer was murder! It was so hot! I used to put my magic bag in the freezer and then put it under my neck at night. This really worked and I cooled off pretty quickly. Try to take a cool bath! I hope you get your AC working soon!

I could probably deal with a few ceiling fans even if the a/c was out, but it's like you can't breathe with all of this moisture in the air I'm so sorry. Trust me, I can sympathize after living without power for weeks during the hurricane I wasn't pregnant then, though. Hope they can come out EARLY on monday.

coasterqueen replied: Ugh, so sorry you have to deal with no air. That's one thing I like about where I live....it usually cools down a bit a night even when it is hot during the day....usually. Course we have the heat on here . Hope they can get it fixed first thing Monday.

That stinks having to sleep on the floor too. Especially pregnant . Do you have a lot of crime in your area that you have to have an alarm?

That's horrible!! I hope they get it fixed right away on Monday..if not, I find a cool library or somewhere to spend the day reading books with Katherine so you two don't suffer!

I seen Florida in the title and my heart jumped lol, Im in Maine but so home sick for Florida, I was pregnant with my first during the summer in Florida and it was the worst! I hope you get your a/c fixed soon, I can not even imagine going without air in that state. Your a brave woman

I wish I could send you some of our weather; it's 34 degrees right now. We're expecting snow this week.

Kaitlin'smom replied: oh that stinks. I had the opposite the last few weeks of my PG the heat went out in our home and it was pretty darn cold, we got it fixed asap, but it was till a few days, nights were the worst I could not get comhy with all those layers one
