Summer wedding

coasterqueen replied: I got some cute halter dresses for a wedding I went to in June. I got them at Macy's. We have a store around here that sells Chico and other names called B. Moss. I LOVE LOVE that store and they always have cute fab dresses. Not sure if you have one of those around you or not. Believe it or not Dress Barn, if you have one of those, has some cute dresses in there at very decent prices. I got a very cute linen black and white dress with white waist bow there and I get compliments on it every time I wear it.

J Crew is having a sale on their halter dresses. I bought one earlier in the year and returned it. It was pale pink and cute on, but I thought it was too light. Now I wish I hadn't have returned it. However, it is on sale now. But they have other colors too. Would brown be too dark for a wedding? Her wedding colors are pink/black but her bridesmaids are wearing black so I could get by with the pink one I guess.

I'd love to go with a halter b/c my swimsuit is a halter and the tan lines, you know.

I'd go with brown. I wore black to the June wedding and there were several girls there in brown dresses. You'd be fine.

I found this halter dress and thought it would be really cute on you! They had more dresses, so check it out! I think the shoes are really cute too and they have a lot on SALE!

Thanks! I just got a closer view of the second one and I really like the pattern! I wasn't sure at first. And I love the shoes! I may have to go get it myself...I have a weddding to go to Sept 1st!

I went ahead and ordered the dress from J Crew since I knew how it fit and all.

While I was there I got a new bikini. They are having a great sale right now.
