And the Marching 100 of FAMU looked great in those uniform lights.

Either way, I'm glad the Colts won! That's who I was wanting to win!! Funny thing is Tim and I were in Indianapolis Saturday, and left Sunday. Everyone we had talked to that had met Peyton Manning said he and his family was super nice...That's nice to hear!

I was about to say that The Marching 100 looked and sounded great. One of my co-workers is in the band and we were all excited for him. I was told that Prince personally requested them to play. This town was all buzz about one of our college bands playing in the superbowl.

cameragirl21 replied: i didn't watch the superbowl but i absolutely LOVE Prince. have been a fan since i was a kid in the 80s and i'd be hard pressed to choose a fave song because i love all of them.

His halftime performance included Purple Rain, All Along the Watchtower, a Foo Fighters song (I think it's called the Best?), Proud Mary and one other that I can't remember. I was really good. He is such a great performer.

I was telling DH that although I don't love Prince as a man (the lace, the over the top eroticisim, the women etc), his showmanship and talent can not be disputed. I love his music and I thought he did great. As for the rattlers, I was like "Uh, Woody, is that the Rattlers?" then I saw their first move and said "yeah, it's got to be them". They did look spiffy!
