Swimsuits now that summer's coming

I just saw my reflection in a full-length mirror wearing only my underwear yesterday (I went for one of those slimming body wrap things, thought I'd splurge since I received some $$$ for my bday last month) and about died. It's been about a year since I have seen myself head-to-toe.
I was fortunate - there's 14 inches less of me than before the wrap but I don't know if I feel good or not. KWIM anyone?
And Kyrie starts swimming class this coming Saturday and it's a parent in the pool with her thing.
A&A'smommy replied: well I know last year I couldn't do it and i weighed 30 pounds less than i do now (thanks to birth control ) anyway I hope that next year I will be about 70 lbs less than I am now I'm starting weight watchers soon and I'm SOOO ready I hate summer!!!
coasterqueen replied: Yep, we aren't doing swimming lessons for a couple more months at least..at least as long as I lose some weight between nwo and then. We won't do much swimming unless it's in our tiny pool in the backyard this year.
gr33n3y3z replied: I'm working on it now and I will have to say I got extra baggage since last year I still fit in it but the stomach has to go LOL and a little bit of the arse and thighs
I got TaeBo DVD's and I think thats gonna kill me yet LOL
mammag replied: Ha! I'm self conscious about getting into a bathing suit when I'm in good shape so I don't see myself getting in one right now.
TeagansMom609 replied: Bathing suit!? HA! No way, I felt horrible about the way I was looking before, now im pregnant. There's no way im even thinking about getting into a bathing suit. I feel like a big cow and im only 8 weeks.
mom21kid2dogs replied: Gee, this must be a good thing about being over 40~I couldn't care less. I never look in mirrors so I don't have to see it! That being said, all my bathing suits have more spandex than a Monday morning areobics class!
mom2tripp replied: SOOOOO not looking forward to the beach this year
Boys r us replied: I'm never thrilled about doing it for the first time each summer! But this year, I've lost a few pounds and I'm actually not minding it TOO terribly...looking forward to it? NOT A CHANCE IN....!!!!
ediep replied: I hate bathing suits, even if I was in the best shape of my life. We start swim lessons next week and me or Dh has to be in the pool with Jason....I sure hope DH is feeling up to it!
uwishucudfly replied: I am actually the lightest I have ever been.....I used to be really heavy when I was a kid. But, I don't know how excited I am to get into a bathing suit. I think this year I might just have that "i don't really give a...." about the whole swimsuit thing. There are people who look better than me, and there are people who look worse than me. I am taking my kids to the town pool today and hopefully everybody there will say...."She looks great......for having two kids!!"
MommyToAshley replied: I am not a "new" Mommy but I still have that new Mommy belly. uggghh! I am on a mission this year to get into shape!!
stanleygirl replied: I don't know if I'll ever be able to wear a swimsuit again. I am so self concience now, it's not even funny. I gained a lot of weight with my first son, and even got stretch marks on my thighs
I wore a suit a few times so DS could go swimming, but the whole time I was so uncomfortable. Maybe after I sign up at Curves I will get my confidence back.
CCTandME replied: I am actually underweight, BUT I do have way too much extra in the middle. And a little love handle ono the left side. (why only the left? ) I HATE my body and do NOT want to wear a bathing suit in front of anybody. I'll need a privacy fence just to play w/ my girls in the yard.
MM'sMama replied: Ugh I know what you mean I don't even want to think about it .
