Sydney has arrived!! - 7lbs. 1oz. and 20 in. long

Kila wrote: I went to the dr Sunday morning and she thought that it would be in the babies best interest to induce because we still had decreased fetal movement and my amiotic fluid was a little lower than she felt comfortable with. So I was admitted into the hospital at 9am and was induced around 11am. I started to have contractions around noon and she didn't arrive until 11:45 pm on Monday evening. God was I tired. When it came time to push I really didn't think that I'd have the energy. I was begging for a c-section because I had the epidural early on in the process and my body started getting adjusted to the medicine. So in order for me to get any pain relief they had to keep increasin gthe dosage. After I was fully dialated, she was out in 45 minutes. She's completely healthy and oh so beautiful. She's been so good to her dad and I. She took immediately to breastfeeding and is very peaceful. My friend recently had a baby and told me that I was in for a wild ride: sleepless nights, difficulties in breastfeeding, etc... But we're handling everything in stride and doing well. My family has been very helpful which is very nice. Once I figure out how to paste my pictures in the signature portion of a post, I will be sure to share them. I want to thank you all for you're good thoughts and motivation throughout my pregancy. Thanks so much!

Glad to hear all is going well, and that the BF is going good! Can't wait to see the pics.
