Tara!
luvmykids wrote: I meant to tell you, I saw little bandana dresses like yours in a botique in Granbury for about $45...I think you're on to something!
PrairieMom replied: $45? WOW! although, it was still hanging there... obviously noone bought the dress for that much... I have a few made, Perhaps I will list them on ETSY and see what happens. It can't hurt anything. Actually, the one is really cute, its a traditional pattern, navy and has diamond rhinestones on it, and the other one is green camo.
MommyToAshley replied: OK, you are going to probably laugh at me... but are they actually made out of bandanas or is it just bandana-print material. They must be a really small size for it to be made out of a bandana, or even two of them sewn together.
lisar replied: Green camo... Let me see it. I might buy it.
PrairieMom replied: they are 2 bandannas sewn together. Hang on, I have some pics...
PrairieMom replied: photobucket won't let me in. My bookmark got messed up with I got my new computer, and now it won't take my password... ugh. How annoying. I'll get pics when I can
The dress on al goes way past her knees, and she is about a large size 18 months. I made one for a girl I watch who is probably just about a size 6 (she is a bigger kindergartner) and it is a shorter skirt length on her, her mom puts biker shorts under it and and you can barely see them. For a grade schooler it would be a shirt.
PrairieMom replied: Here are the dresses.

My3LilMonkeys replied: I think you've perfected your pattern!! I love the one you make for the older girl and the camo one!!
stella6979 replied: Awwww....Al is such a cute little model. I LOVE the camo and bandana ones, although I'll admit....I couldn't bring myself to spend $45.00 on one.
PrairieMom replied: yeah, IMO, very few things are worth $45. $15 maybe...
lisar replied: I already claimed the camo one for Raygen. I am buying it from her. So when I get it I will post pics of Raygen wearing it.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: Oh I love the blue one!! You have done a great job with those!!!
PrairieMom replied:
mom21kid2dogs replied: Seriously, Tara, you could make a fortune on those!! They are adorable. For the older girls (like Olivia) you could market them as shirts to wear with leggings. If you so it, I want a red traditional looking one!
PrairieMom replied: I thought they would look cute with jeans, esp the red one. Al is so short tho, only her shoes will poke out. She will be able to wear it for a long time.
BAC'sMom replied: they are cute
kimberley replied: awww kids and dresses are adorable! you are really talented, Tara.
BAC'sMom replied: Tara have you seen the t-shirt dresses that they are making now? They are awful cute too.
PrairieMom replied: no. can you find me a pic?
BAC'sMom replied: Sure I will. You want me to post it here or pm?
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Tara think throw back to the 1980's t-shirt dresses. Tay has one I decorated lastyear for a rodeo...I will find the picture
O and I love the dresses now! TOO CUTE!
PrairieMom replied: you can post it here. It doesn't matter.
My2Beauties replied: I love the camo one - too adorable. If you find a pink camo material let me know.
BAC'sMom replied: The 80’s style t-shirt dresses are a little different. Back then you hardly took any fabric off the bottom but now they take lots.
Here are two different styles that my Mom made for Ansley for school. She made 6 different dresses in 6 different styles. I’ll pm you some links.

jem0622 replied: Okay Tara...my girls would look so cute in those dresses! We need to talk! LOL.
PrairieMom replied: I've been looking... I can't believe I haven't seen any yet. I'll keep keeping my eyes open.
