When I was younger I wanted my eyebrow pierced, but no any more.
7. What age would you allow your son/daughter to get their ears pierced? Probably 10 years old for a girl, high school for a boy.

Not until they are 18...and free to do what he wants

I also have one on my lower back, I designed part of it the center is DL intertwined and then a beautiful design around it the center of it looks like a heart.

So if I wanted to have it show it could, if I wanted it covered (for work) I could also have it that way. I recently figured out what I want to get that would have high importance to me. It would be of the Chinese birthsigns for our girls. The design is a very detailed, unusual design, not the typical thing. It is going to be of a horse to represent Christian, and a monkey for Kellie.

7. What age would you allow your daughters to get their ears pierced? Christian's ears were pierced the day after Kellie was born. Kellie's, we just have not done yet, not sure if she would tolerate anything in her ears at all. And I would not want to take chances now, at her age. So maybe after she begins elementary school, I will look into it then.
8. What age would you allow your children to get a tattoo/body piercings? a typical clean shop would not allow it before 18 yrs of age. So then if they so choose. But I would rather have them wait yrs & yrs to find something significant to them. NO BOYS NAMES, though!!!

Yes. I have a rose on my left breast. I'm not sure why I got that one  I was 13 and thought I was cool LOL. I also have Winnie the Pooh on my right ankle. I got it to cover up my exhusbands initals.

Yes, dh has a tribal tattoo on his right leg, and a joker on his left arm.

I am planning on getting another tattoo within a couple of months. I'm either going to get my boys foot prints (from when they were newborn) or angel wings on my shoulders with their names and birthdates. I havn't decided which yet.

Yes, just one hole each. I did pierce the cartlidge in my right ear when I was about 15, but it got infected and I had to take it out.

Yes, I have my tongue and belly button pierced. Although I don't wear my belly ring since having kids. It just doesn't look right LOL

I think I'm done with the piercings.

I would say around 16 I"d probably be open to letting them get a tattoo or piercing.

-a dragon on my left shoulderblade, because my grandmother always told me I have a dragon's attitude

-a dolphin on my left ankle - I was 15 and wanted it
-a maple leaf on my upper right arm, with "made in canada" around it - because I'm NOT made in Canada...

I've had my tongue pierced, my lebret, my nose and my belly button pierced. I no longer wear anything in any of them....they're all closed up, except for center of the hole in my tongue. As in - I can put a ring in the top of my tongue, and in the bottom, but I can't pass it through.

I'm not going to pierce it for them - when they want it, they'll ask... and they can have it when they're mature enoguh to take care of the piercing on their own

Mya has had hers done twice and we are going to do it again for the wedding, ( the other times her babysitter messed it up.

My dh has a tattoo on his left forearm of taz with the word army in the middle. He got it because he was drunk, his friends were with him and it was his birthday. He wants to get it covered now. He also has one of a cougar on his right shoulder because it's his favourite cat.
I have 2 piercings in my ears, but only use one now, and hardly that at times.
I use to have my navel pierced but it got infected pretty quickly and I let it close not long after it got done.
I don't think I ever want my boys to get their ears pierced, just because I couldn't imagine it, however if they really wanted to, then I would let them around 15 or 16.
As for tats, I would want them to wait till at least 21 or something like that so I knew it was something they absolutely wanted, however the legal age here is 18, so I couldn't stop them after that.

Yes I do, I have 2! One on my left arm of my name written in really pretty script writing and another one on my right shoulder blade of a wolf peering through tree limbs, the whole tattoo is colorless except his eyes are bright green - it's beautiful. I want another one on my lower back of Hanna's name but I wouldn't know exactly what to get with it.

a boy? i'd say 11-13.. depending.

16. for piercing and 18 for tattoo. unless they provide a good argument and it's a respectable tattoo wish that i do not feel they will outgrow. (it would also have to be discreetly placed and non flamboyant)

Age doesn't matter to me as long as I feel they are ready

Piercings are no big deal to me because they can close. If my child wants a tattoo I think I will make them wait until they are 18. If they still want the a tattoo when they are 18 then they are more then welcome. I just want them to make sure they are getting something that they will love for life.

Yes, I have five! I have a cross on my leg its a symbol of my religion to me, I have a dolphin on my lower back, just LOVE dolphins, I have dolphins circling my belly button, at the time i got it i was at a cross road school, work whatever i felt like i was doing circles, i love dolphins so i thought it was a great idea, and i have a "special" tattoo with hubby's name and wedding date, and a butterfly on my shoulder done at 18yrs of age i was morphing from a caterpillar to a butterfly child to woman!!

yes-one on my left shoulder blade(got it when I was 18) it is a sleeping angel. I got it because my mom died when I was only 8.

He has a sun on his back in the middle top, 'Carpe Diem' written on his neck, grim reeper on his right forearm on the underside(best looking), an armband and a condom with a bullet on it on his left upper arm, and a cross with 'Only God can judge me' written above and below it are his initials 'M.J.W' and under this is a chinese symbol standing for warrior. Wow alot. HMM. He got all but two of them when he was younger. Young and dumb--I guess.

5. Anything else peirced besides your ears? no-I used to have my nose and tongue pierced-- took them out. Also my guy used to have his tongue and eyebrow pierced, but he has one earring in each ear.

no - it's against Torah to tatoo your body

my girls have all been given the option (I would never get it done unless _they_ wanted it) -- DD#1 never wants it done 'too girly' for her - DD#2 is thinking of getting it done when she turns 10 this coming Oct - DD#3 got it done last summer at age 6....the boys will NOT be given the option

never -- tatooing and 'bodily mutilation' are against Torah....the only thing we'll ever allow is one hole in each ear for the girls
