MomToMany replied: Still here, LOL! Trying to get everyting ready for the big day! My mom is coming on Wed. afternoon so I can explain where everything is/goes, and let her know what to feed the kids and all that stuff. I don't know how she's going to get Hannah to bed that night, since she nurses to sleep. But I'm sure it will go OK. She's staying until Thursday afternoon/evening when DH will come home. The kids don't have school on Friday, so DH will bring everyone down then to meet their new sibling . DH has his class Wed. afternoon/evening til 5:30 pm, then it's off to the hospital. It's a complicated class, and he can't miss a day, or it would be really hard to make up. I'll just walk around through Wal-Mart ot Target til he's done, maybe buy some little toys or games for the other kids from the baby.

So, I'm trying to get caught up on all the laundry and getting the house more organized so it doesn't look so diasterous when I come home. I've explained all this to the kids so they know what to expect, and I told Logan and Quentin to help Grandma out if she needs it, especially with Hannah and Ethan.

I'll be so glad when this baby is born! I want this over with!! And I can't wait to take care of a newborn again !!!

Sorry I'm not posting as much; I'm trying to stay up-to-date with all the posts .

Are you going to be induced, if you don't mind me asking, what's your plan?

Yes, I'm being induced. I'll be 41 weeks, 2 days. That's long enough for me. My Dr. said he wouldn't let me go past 42 weeks. I really wanted it to happen naturally, but I thought it would be much easier with 4 other kids at home to have it set for a certain time.

I'm going in Wed. night, and Dr. is going to use Cervidil overnight, then Pitocin in the morning. Hopefully I won't need the Pitocin (I HATE that stuff!). I'm dilated to 2 cm, and Dr. said my cervix is really soft. So, hopefully I'll only need the Cervidil. I'm also GBS+, so I'll need IV antibiotics, too.



Thanks for all the ELV's!! I'll surely need them!!

So, do you think you will have this baby any earlier than your induction date? It sounds like you have all the bases covered. I am sure Grandma will do fine with the kids. When Ashley was younger and had to be nursed to sleep, I did go out for a few hours one night and she went to sleep for my MIL with no problem.
