Tell me if it bothers you as well. - Picture

Just let me know the first thing that bothers you about this photo.

MoonMama replied: Where are his glasses lenses?
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: that his shirt is in focus and his face is a little fuzzy
DillsMommy replied: The background looks a little TOO fuzzy. I don't know, it's late and I'm tired so that could be it too...
punkeemunkee'smom replied: That his lenses are not there
My3LilMonkeys replied: Nothing really - I looked at it a few times and nothing bothered me about about it.
I didn't notice the glasses thing (which I think is what you're talking about) until I read the comments here.
Kaitlin'smom replied: the 'glasses' bug me as well as the background is to blurry and makes him blurred around the hair
CantWait replied: At first glance, the whole picture just looks fuzzy.
jcc64 replied: There's a little "glow" or haze all around him. The non-existent lens thing is a little disturbing to me too, but I'm not sure what you can do to correct that.
moped replied: That is what I was thinking....
Crystalina replied: Wow, I never noticed his glasses!! His father is an Optometrist so I'm sure he got glasses that "disappear" on his face. As a matter of fact I will have to ask him later but I'm pretty sure the name of this style has something to do with "invisible". Well apparently they work. But that was not my issue. My issue was that my DOF was not what I wanted (depth of focus) so I messed with it in post processing to make it "more". Now that I look at it with fresh morning eyes (I think I just stared at the darn thing too long and couldn't tell what was good and what was horrid about it), I can see where his shoulder meets the tree is really bad and yes, around his hair needs some work. Also near his neck. Yeah, I'm pretty much going to have to redo all that.
Thanks so much.
Crystalina replied: And the next time I shoot him I will have him take those glasses off because they look great IRL but really wonky in photos.
A&A'smommy replied: the background is blurred WAY too much, and its blurred to close to his clothes and hair
MommyToAshley replied: I really thought you had edited out his glasses to see his eyes better. His lenses are really on? - Wow!
I agree about his face and background being out of focus. It's like the focus was on the tree or something?
Crystalina replied: I meant 'depth of field' not focus. I have focus on the brain.
Crystalina replied: Yep, they were on him. I'm just so used to seeing him with them that I never noticed that before.
Here is another one of him where his glasses show up a bit better.

I'm thinking I may just keep the orginal DOF I had even though I don't like the building coming out of his head.
Danalana replied: I didn't look at any of the other responses, but I couldn't see anything that bothered me about the photo. Maybe the blurring in the background? I don't know.
Danalana replied: Ok, I read the responses...I used to work for an optometrist, and those glasses are supposed to "disappear" on the face
Crystalina replied: Well they live up to their name for sure. I wonder how many other people have gotten their photo taken while wearing them and are like "wth?"
Danalana replied: Yeah, if you add the no-glare coating, nobody will ever see them! Except for parts of the frame....which is weird...
Calimama replied: His glasses freak me out.
