Tell me the truth...

Danalana wrote: ...will my body (and its inner workings) ever be the same after having a baby? I'm just wondering because so many things are different. Totally worth it, of course, but my cycle is SO weird. I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday, which was day 18. I always ovulated around day 14 before I had Kade. And don't EVEN get me started on my bottom... unsure.gif OH!! And the worst thing is that my menstrual cramps are as bad, if not worse, and last all 5 days dry.gif Used to, my cycle was about 4 days, but I only cramped really bad for the first 2. Ooooooooh, I could mention something else, but I'm already getting into too much information emlaugh.gif
Anybody have any words of encouragement? Snide remarks? Anything?

luvmykids replied: Maybe. Maybe not. How's that for an answer? laugh.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Everybody is differant, and pregnancy sure does change your body inside and out

PrairieMom replied: My body changes after Ben, it was soooo strange, but eventually , the changes became the new normal . laugh.gif I didn't notice as many changes after Al was born. I guess all the damage was done with ben. blush.gif

Danalana replied: laugh.gif Thanks.

lisar replied: It will get back to normal. It just takes a while.

Danalana replied: Awww, yay!

mommymommy replied: Everyone is different! There are things you can change and things that you can't!!
It may not look exactly the same..I can't name one woman's who did!!
But there are things you can still change!

Kaitlin'smom replied: No it will never be the same again. wacko.gif mine is still a bit wacky after 5.5 years

mckayleesmom replied: I don't think they ever go back the same. They have experienced to much. There is hope though in a way..You will learn all about your new body in time.

moped replied: The same? I say no. Different is my best answer. In my case things changed in different ways with each kid. With Jack everything headed south, with Laila even further south. I lost more weight with Laila than Jack. My periods have been way heavier after L than J. I don't know, but really it goes with the territory.

A&A'smommy replied: NO it will never go back you will learn about your new body again but then after the second baby it changes even more tongue.gif

BAC'sMom replied: Nope you will never be the same....

Your a Mommy now welcome to the club! laugh.gif

Danalana replied: I'm ok with it, really, but it's odd that my cycle is completely different.

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: **rides in on white horse to save the day***

My body was outta whack after having Sammy and again after Abby but my periods have returned to almost normal. Before kids my periods were super light. After kids they were super heavy. Now that its been 2 years since I gave birth to my youngest,,,, my periods are almost normal. They are still a bit heavier but nothing like they were right after the kids were born.

sparkys2boys replied:
Way to beat around the bush Monica..lol tongue.gif

Danalana replied:
laugh.gif Let's see...it only took almost 2 years to get to "almost normal"...

Sam & Abby's Mom replied:
ok, ok --- you've got me there ! rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

ZandersMama replied: I would have to join the no way club. tongue.gif sorry hug.gif My body is still all screwd up and zav is almost 2. funny periods, chronic constipation, heartburn. lol.

Boo&BugsMom replied: After Tanner my body bounced back in no time. After Aiden...um...that's another story. sleep.gif For me all the crazy stuff came after the second child. I know my body will never be the same again, and it drives me nuts. dry.gif

Nina J replied: It takes like, 6 weeks for your actual body parts to return to pre-gravid state. As for your cycle, I think it varies to much from woman to woman.
