We were practing like Brianne said.. here at the house. He rode good he just landed wrong. He reached to the ground when he landed..and he jammed his wrist..and broke his radius bone. It's a pretty bad break. I have to make an appt at the Ortho tomorrow.

He is soo disappointed..because he had rode in over 12 rodeo's these season. One some and lost some.. but he was winning the "rookie" of the year.. He was going to win a big buckle.. the prize for all cowboys.. Maybe he still can.

That boy is wearing me out. Remember last year..2 days after school started.. he was at the baby sitter and some kid pushed him down and he broke his wrist.. I can just imagine the looks the school is going to give me tomorrow..

He has been in some pain..but already talking about riding again.. Maybe left handed??? But we know his health is worth more to me than anything. If he doesn't make it to the finals this year.. It's just because God as something else in store. So, I am praying for God's way and not mine.

Thanks for you prayers.. you guys are #1..

Oh! when we got to the ER.. he was covering in cow poo where he landed. They asked us what he did..but I am sure they smelled him..lolol

It sounds like and looks like the same break my nephew got (he's the same age too!) jumping off the monkey bars on the last day of school. It ruined his summer activities (no baseball, no swimming) and he'll still be in a splint when school starts up again
