Thats a DETENTION Missie!

jenn3 wrote: When you were in school did you ever get sent to the principles office or worse yet did you ever get detention? What did you do?

luvbug00 replied: OH this will be a good one. I was sent MANY MANY times but my ultimate childhood favorite is this one....ahem...

In my school if you sware or anything you have to call your parents and the word you said has to be the first word you say to whoever picks up the phone.

One day i dropped the B bomb to a teacher. (beeeeooch) and soo I called my mom and she picked up and I said the B word. well My hiniey got tanned so well you'd think I went into a tanning booth bum first.

Heres mine
I started a food fight and i was the one who ended up throwing pudding at the princepal(sp) new satin(i think) dress. Lets just say that did NOT go over well blush.gif rolling_smile.gif

CantWait replied: ALL THE TIME rolling_smile.gif I was constantly sent to the principles office for mouthing to the french teacher, she was such a B**** (she held me responsable for the way my brother acted years ago in her class). I skipped school and had a temper in highschool, forged my mom's signature etc...so I was given detention, and suspension.

My2Beauties replied: I constantly stayed in detention and in ISAP - In school suspension program, where you stay in one room all day and can't go to your regular classes or go out in the halls AT ALL! dry.gif I was so bad!

elvisfan replied: Can you believe that I never once got detention? I was a good girl, I suppose! Quite the opposite of my brother who was always in detention.

Our Lil' Family replied: I got detention once but it was my mom's fault (hehe). I was in 5th grade and this boy never stopped picking on me and I'd go home and cry to my mom about it. Finally she told me to tell him to "eat sh!t and die"...her words!! So I did....and he told the teacher that I cursed (strict private school) and I got sent to the principal's office and I cried and cried and said, but my Momma told me to.... she backed me up, but I still had to go to detention.

Then in like 6th grade I got it for making fun of a substitue teacher cause he looked like Elvis....the whole class kept pretending to be Elvis...we all got detention.

amynicole21 replied: I know I did, but can't for the life of me remember why?! I did a lot of things that I never got caught for, though. wink.gif

ammommy replied: Nope, I was the suck-up teacher's pet that everyone hated tongue.gif It didn't hurt that I was also the counselor's daughter. Mr. X's daughter could do no wrong. If they only knew sh.gif

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Well I went to a private christian school (not my choice) and we had uniforms. White shirts w/ collars. Well I had forget to do laundrey and had no shirts with collars so I wore a white shirt without a collar hoping none of the teachers would notice. Not so, they call out your name during lunch periods to give you your detention slips and when they called my name I was so mad. Anyway my mom and dad just laughed and said it was a stupid reason to get a detention since it was my first time not wearing a shirt w/ a collar. STUPID SCHOOL!!!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I think I did dentention once...I can't remember what for! Remember, I'm a year older today, so cut me some slack...it was way too long ago to remember...lol rolling_smile.gif

holley79 replied: I got ISS (In School Suspension) my 7th grade year of school for fighting. This girl would not leave me alone and the school wouldn't do anything so I took matters into my own hands. ohmy.gif

Other then that I never got into trouble. (Well never got caught. sh.gif )

Hillbilly Housewife replied: oh yeah, all the time!!! I'd do my homework. We were allowed to do homework...

dunno.gif

I've been suspended many times too. I was alost expelled my last high school year too.... lol

Kaitlin'smom replied: Nope never got caught for anything, not that I did much to be caught doing. I worked for the councliers and the office. I was a god girl and probably a suck up in some peoples eyes I did have a couple teachers that just loved me.

kit_kats_mom replied: I never got sent to the principles office but suffice to say, I was very familiar with In School Suspension and after school detention.
They used to make us walk the track after school. I got in big trouble once when a friend and I were both walking the track for detention and it was so hot. We both peeled off our shirts and ran through the sprinklers in the middle of the field. We were still wearing bras but OMG you'd have thought we were buck naked by the reaction of the vice principle. rolling_smile.gif

jcc64 replied: I discovered very early on in my high school career that no one ever read the requisite absence notes- that you could basically hand anything in. For years, I used to write all kinds of ridiculous reasons why I was absent (attending a coronation in a small Eastern European kingdom, etc), and finally, toward the end of senior year, someone in the office read one (studying the mating habits of large primates in a Mongolian zoo) and didn't appreciate the humor.

kit_kats_mom replied:
rolling_smile.gif oh Jeanne, I wish I knew you then. We would have been a force to be reckoned with. rolling_smile.gif

ammommy replied:
rolling_smile.gif Now that's the kind of stuff I only dreamed about doing emlaugh.gif
