The Mess before the clean up.....

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I can relate and it doesn't get better as they get older. They just acquire more stuff!! Maddie has a room full and a playroom full. I am cleaning out both tomorrow and making a trip to the Salvation Army.

Jamison'smama replied: Yep--that's our house too--a plastic nightmare is what I call it. The stuff is hard to organize as well since so many of the toys at this point are so big--the ball blasters, the play tables it is hard to figure out how to "put them away" they don't fit on shelves or in the toy box so what do you do?

great.....well hopefully in a couple years when we buy a new house she will have room in her bedroom for most of them and only a few will be in the living room. I would have them in her room now but there is a full size bed in there and I refuse to get rid of it so for now her room is kinda cramped but it works!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I think I will send this post to DH....he seems to think we are the only ones without an organized house. It drives him nuts. What do you do about it, though? It is just a stage in our lives. We will miss it when it's gone.

well until I get something better to put things in I just pick it up as muxh as possible and them deal with the rest. Everyone that has seen her corner does not care she is a baby (okay techinacally a toddler now) but they understand that she has taken over the house However when we do get the bigger home we so need most things will be in her room. Until then I just deal with it and figure one day I will miss it.
