The countdown has begun!

Twelve Volt Man wrote: Three weeks from today, my wife will be delivering a very handsome little boy. I have a mere 9 shifts at work before he arrives, and then I'm off for a month or two! Tick...tock....tick....tock....

luvmykids replied: wub.gif How exciting!

Miranda1127 replied: Ahhh, how funny father time can be. it takes forever and a day before they come and you blink your eyes and they are all grown up. good luck and enjoy every last second biggrin.gif

redplaydoh replied: Tell her to cherish those last few weeks of pregnancy... even though she may be miserable it's an incredible feeling of having that baby squirming around and a feeling that will be missed. I hope the next few weeks pass by quickly for you and life as you know it will be forever changed... but in a wonderful way. I'm sure you're anxious to meet your son! wub.gif

lisar replied: Awww wub.gif Dads can be so sweet. Enjoy these last few weeks of sleep.

CantWait replied: Have you got any pregnancy pictures done, or done a mold? Hope time doesn't go by to quickly. wub.gif

TheOaf66 replied: I know how you feel TVM, this is my last day at work for about a week and a half or so, good luck keeping your sanity this last few weeks.

lovemy2 replied: wub.gif AWWWW, love the hubby anticipation - my DH was like you but very silent about it - it wasn't until after did I know how much anticipation/anxiety he had.... tongue.gif

Calimama replied: Exciting!! Enjoy your last few nights of sleep! wink.gif

holley79 replied: I think that is awesome you are able to take off the time to be home. Before you know it they are grown. blink.gif

Twelve Volt Man replied: I don't anticipate a lot of lost sleep, at least in the beginning. My wife if going to breast-feed him, so there'll be no need for me to get up! Two months off of work, sleeping in, and my wife home to make dinner and do the chores.... I can get used to that. wink.gif

amymom replied:
Ok ohmy.gif Now I want your wife's email address! I must tell her these awful things you say! You WILL get up and get the baby for her, YOU will be preparing dinner for her AND breakfast and lunch too! While she sleeps in. blink.gif emlaugh.gif bigthink.gif We really need a 'wagging the finger at you" smilie! emlaugh.gif or maybe one with hands on the hips, shaking the head!!!

msoulz replied:
You crack me up! rolling_smile.gif I am looking forward to the after-birth stories so very much!!!

Twelve Volt Man replied:
I am a modest man. I will NOT share stories regarding the afterbirth! wink.gif

Twelve Volt Man replied:
Never! This is my secret place, where she will never know about the things I make up. smile.gif

Danalana replied: laugh.gif
Awww, I can't imagine how exciting this must be....

especially the part about you being waited on hand and foot and getting to sleep in tongue.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: you're hilarious Twelve-Volt. emlaugh.gif
