Halloween Costumes
I hope this works
momof2girls replied: Who in the world would buy those????? crazy!
Boys r us replied: I'm THOROUGHLY disgusted!!!
You know what? They wouldn't make thngs like this if people didn't REALLY buy them..now what kind of sick individual would dress their daughter up like a ho???Hmm???? Please...someone tell me!
booey2 replied: Well, they really don't look that bad. The ho costume looks like a flappy girl from the 30's i think and the boys costumes just look like someone from the 70's scene. Just my
Edited to say that: They should have chosen different names for the costumes they are very misleading.
Kaitlin'smom replied: OMG I would NEVER, I mean who would, how...I am just speechless
kit_kats_mom replied: I had not actually seen them yet but they were talking about them on one of the local news shows last week. That's really sad. Lets all put our hands together and pray that the convent look, complete with habits, comes into fashion before our DD's hit puberty.
Honestly, the ho costume isn't that bad. Shoot, we went to a movie on Friday night and there was a girl who was about 12 maybe. She was standing behind me wearing a tight, low cut tank top and a belt...I mean skirt that was seriously about 5" long. Shoot! I was checking out her cleveage! Not on purpose...it was just right there in my face when I turned around. My poor DH.
Kaitlin'smom replied: now that I woul dhave to agree with if the names were different we might think differently about them, but I would never buy my daughter a Ho costume
Mom2Boyz replied: I agree, the costumes themselves don't look that bad. It's the name that is unbelievable!!!! I would never buy one with that name.
booey2 replied: I actually wore a Flapper costume out to trick or treat one year in my younger days and it looked just like the one on that link. I wouldn't buy that on just based on them calling it a Ho costume. Lables sometimes do make you think twice about something.
My2Beauties replied: Yeah that's disgusting! some things never cease to amaze me They need to name the something different because they don't look like PImp suits or Hoe outfits
amynicole21 replied: OMG! That is unreal!
Josie83 replied: That is unbelivable and so scary, yet you can so imagine parents thinking its "cute" to dess their baby up like that . . . can you imagine a little girl turning up to a house, when the person she was trick or treating asked her what she was dressed up as? I mean for crying out loud!! xx
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I agree...It isn't that they LOOK bad, but can you imagine! "My daughter is going to be a Ho for Halloween." "My son is going as a Pimp!"
I know. I know. It is very sad. I wouldn't let my child wear things like that. If I didn't stop her, I know her daddy would.
kit_kats_mom replied: I think it's in reaction to all of the pimp and ho parties that the kids are having now. Bigger kids I mean. I know that some of the bars in Tallahassee have Pimp and ho parties for the college crowd.
coasterqueen replied: How horrible! I definitely think the names need to be changed! I don't think I could by them even if they looked decent just because of the name.
Kaitlin'smom replied: what? what kind of message are we sending here...very sad
and okay while we are on the topic of clothes whats with these very short skirts that barily and I mean bairly hide anthing for such young girls, I was not allowed to wear mini-shirts and now they have mini-mini-skirts....sorry but no way will I let my daughter out oof the house if there is a possbilty of seeing her undies if she streches or bends over
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Not only is this bad, but did you actually get a look at the price. They are asking about 50 bucks for these costumes. The girl one does look like a flapper girl costume, but still.
I have got to say that if I had dressed like some of these kids are dressing today my father would have locked me in the house. The sad thing is I have looked at the clothes in the stores. This is what they are selling. I have seen some toddler clothes that shouldn't be toddler clothes as well. Are they going to let them walk around naked when our daughters get to be this age? DH better just invest in a gun. He is going to have his hands full.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: That's a joke right? I can't believe that! Who in there right mind would make such a costume? I'm appalled!
loveydad replied: go to dookiewear.com!
Some of the shirts are okay - my osn has a a bunch of them for his kid. But theres one that says "my daddys a mother F***** (BUT ITS SPELLED OUT!)"!
