The girls and I are taking a weekend trip

Saturday morning we are going to leave for Missouri, stay in a Who-tel (as Kylie calls it) and come back Sunday night. We will go swimming, hopefully go to Grant's Farm and on Sunday we are meeting up with a bunch of BF moms I used to get together with often that I met on an online BF board. I haven't seen them since Megan was a few months old so I'm VERY excited to see them and their kids. It will be weird, though, because I will be the only one not nursing anymore.

I really really hope I don't lose my sanity on this trip, because I want it to be a lot of fun.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm sure you'll have a great time. The kids and I traveled a lot without Scotty last summer and plan to do so again this year. I have to say the trip went a lot better without him there.

Yes, I paid a little more for a suite so I can put the girls in the bedroom to sleep and I can stay up and watch tv in the 'living room'. I plan to have some me time doing my nails.

Honestly that's how it is for us too. When the girls and I go on trips alone we do much better.

I'm just nervous because I have been having migraines a lot lately and can't take anything for them while I'm waiting for a confirmation diagnosis on an ulcer.
