Here they are during their test. I can't imagine they'll ever out grow these carseats! Alexia is 4 lb 11 oz now and Brooke is 5 lb 4 oz. My babies are growing so big! wub.gif

mom21kid2dogs replied: Very cool! They look so little in those "big" seats!! They ought to get a year in them for sure!!
So glad they'll be home in your arms so soon!! Great news!! wub.gif

MyBoyz replied: That is great new! Congrats on your 2 beautiful girls biggrin.gif My youngest was born at 6lbs and I thought that was tiny!

3forme replied: Such great news! The girls are both so tiny and beautiful! You have been very blessed! I bet you can't wait to get them home!

jem0622 replied: Glad that they passed the test! That is interesting that they had the test. My girls didn't have this. They were 5 lbs, 6 3/4 oz and 5 lbs, 2 3/4 oz. And they were less than 5 lbs when we left. They will grow like weeds in no time, you watch! The girls are now 2 mos and almost double in their weight!

Congrats to you!

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but the test isn't for how well they fit the carseat wink.gif Many hospitals require that parents of preemies in the nicu bring in their carseat as a precaution for any breathing troubles. They are attatched to a moniter that evaluates the heart and breathing and sit in the carseat for a certain amount of time just to make sure there won't be any troubles when they go home.

Thanks for the nice replies everyone! smile.gif

loveydad replied: I think thats what she meant though ??

We had to do this, I don't think we had to do it wiht the first set but c and c I know she had to do it.

Kolesmom replied: Kole had to have the same test done. He was born at 28 weeks. He came home after 14 weeks. But, he remained on an apnea monitor even after he came home for about 4 months. I hope your babies are doing great now. Kole is fine health wise, but a little behind on other things

Kila replied: They are too cute! I want twins!
