Today I was telling my mom ( who is here) when me and dh go to the movies that Im going to go comando bra wise because of the swelling....she said "honey, go take your bra off right now if its uncomfortable".....I said "mom, Im not wearing a bra right now"....she said "well you could have fooled me..man their perky then"....
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Gotta LOVE that, don't you. I still love the fact the mine face front and not the floor.
mckayleesmom replied: ditto ...and when I lay on my back...they point up and they aren't in my armpits.... ....
??? Kelly....Did your armpits and sides swell for a while after? Im sure its normal, but Im just curious.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Yes, I swelled for a month or so. It got better bit by bit. And it's great to not feel like you have to bald headed kids in headlocks when you lay on your back, ain't it?

I thought about getting a breast reduction. I've always had nice sized girls, but after Cameron I'm up to a DD...and they're killing me! They are still pretty perkey, but I have a lot of back pain from them.
How much is the surgery, if you don't mind me asking? Should I wait until after I'm done having kids? I heard they continue to get bigger after every preg, and if so, man...I'll have to get a custom made bra! Of course, DH likes them how they are. But he doesn't have to carry these puppies around all day either!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Woohoo! I'm still so jealous. I wish I could get one - but I don't think Dh would go for it. And I guess if I just could lost the weight I want to lose they might get back to the old size anyways.
Enjoy your freedom! I don't remember the last time I could get away without a bra.
Mom2Boyz replied: Man you're SOOOOO lucky!!!!! I would LOVE to get a reduction. I was a 36DD before having kids, I"m now a 38H We just havn't had to money for me to get it done.
I'm glad you're liking your new girls
luvmykids replied: I wish I had a need for breast reduction! Mine are tiny and droopy.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Three years ago, I would have gladly given you some of mine.
Insanemomof3 replied: Woohoo!!! I am so happy for you. Glad it went well!
CantWait replied: That awesome news. Congrats.
C&K*s Mommie replied: ROFL! that is a perfect description!
Glad that you are happy with them, now Brianne.
mckayleesmom replied: Well...I didn't pay anything out of pocket...Tricare did. I will let you know how much the damage was when I get a tricare statement...Im pretty sure they are over 6 grand though...
A&A'smommy replied: WOW that is awesome!!!
My3LilMonkeys replied: Glad to hear everything went well. And WOW , how awesome that you didn't have to pay for it!
CAMSMOM1 replied:
Is TriCare your insurance? I was wondering if your insurance will pay for it, since it can cause back problems, ect. Did they say you can have this procedure done, if you still want to have kids and breastfeed?
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I had mine done before my wedding. And I was given a 75% chance of being able to breastfeed exclusively. I didn't get to test that theory out as we had other issues after birth. ETA most insurances will cover a reduction due to back, neck and shoulder issues. As well as headaches. But you have to meet a bunch of criteria and the surgeon has to be able to remove a set amount of tissue.
