The things my child says... - LOLOLOL!!!!Double whammy!

The guy behind the counter acually laughed at this point.(break here but keep that in mind) I get my ink we go to the nail salon next door and I am getting my nails done the table in front of us there is a man getting a manicure Taylor says LOUDLY "Mommy why is that man getting his nails painted? That is silly Boys don't paint their nails" I TRY to quitely explain that he is not getting them painted but that concept is lost on a 4 year old...My face is red,we pay and leave. Getting back in my truck she starts in about the pirate again so I take a GOOD look at the store and it is the Captin Morgan Rum pirate and I am parked in front of the newly opened LIQUOR store! I must have looked like a good mommy sure honey lets go take you to see your friend the pirate...*hick-up*

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Take ONE child with you! She rearanges the nail polishes...by color..they look better when we leave than when we get there in my regular salon!

I give myself one usually when I'm on break (since I work at a spa) but I would love to go on my regular time as well!!! Your daughter is 5 right? I have a 5 yr old daughter too....maybe I'll try it sometime

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Tay is 4 but we have always done everything together so I guess she is just used to it! Gameboy videos,coloring books,etc... help! I was just kidding about the 1 kid thing hope that did not sound rude! I am from a family of 9 so I wasn't trying to sound flippant!

*edit to say I get her toe nails painted to match my color or let her pick...we both had different designs on our toes all summer!

And last, but not least, Your daughter sounds very mature for 4...is she always going to be your only child?

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I hope not but we had a hard time getting pregnant with her and I have had several m/c so you never know...Bill and I have started joking that we will get pregnant again when she is graduated or something! Of course she has started askin God for a baby budder! Lol!Maybe so...

And she is pretty mature but I think it is that only child thing kwim? Alot of adult interaction!

oh nooooooo that would have been worse! The minute I told Bill the beginning of the story he started laughing he just knew it was gonna be something funny and then he says Men don't paint their nails...was he getting them done like you???
