Josie83 replied: I'm so pleased that you explained that it was a bee Aimee . . . I didn't want to have to ask for yet another translation wink.gif

get a can of hairspray and spray loads on it then run for cover! That's what I do with wasps in our house when Jason's not around. Either that or open loads of kitchen windows, then shut all the dors and again, run for cover! wink.gif

Let us know how it goes

PS - I seriously thought you were going to say a yellow jacket was some kind of fashion disaster that had been left by a friend or family member, and that's what the emergency was blush.gif You GUYS! wink.gif laugh.gif tongue.gif xx

gr33n3y3z replied: maybe the warmth of outside is waking them up for another fun filled year

I hate those
Also my hubby is allergic to them so we have to be careful not to let them in
But when one does get in the kids hide in the bedrooms and I'm there to face the demon alone lol
I got this new bug zapper it looks like a tennis racket and you push in 2 buttons at the sametime and it shocks them dead it works on silverfish, and moths also.

My2Beauties replied: OMG I hate bees - I have never been stung because when I see one I go freaking crazy and like a dummy running around screaming and stuff! I would leave the room and shut the door or spray it with tons of hairspray like Josie said and run for your life!

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
laugh.gif You kill me!!! rolling_smile.gif laugh.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I went back in there and it wasnt' there. unsure.gif huh.gif

coasterqueen replied: I'm not sure if this will help with bees, but does your DH spray the outer perimeter of the house with bug sprays? We live out in the country and of course can tell with different seasons the types of bugs we get. Like with Spring arriving I'm seeing ants and ladybugs. My Dh sprays the outer of the house several times each season to keep ALL bugs/spiders, etc from entering the house. Maybe it would help with bees. dunno.gif

mommy2owen replied: Glad to hear it left peacfully!

A&A'smommy replied: OMG I hate bees I'm glad its gone though!!! wink.gif

Alice replied: OK, I'm assuming he's gone by now, but next time:

Open the windows and turn off the lights. Bees go towards the light.

It's something I learned from teaching-- something they REALLY should teach in education classes!!!

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
Yes, normally he does it every couple of months, but it has been awhile. I keep bugging him to do it b/c I've seen lots of bugs and spiders as well. I will get him to do that this weekend. Thanks for the reminder and I bet that will really help.! thumb.gif

Thanks Alice for the tip! I haven't seen anymore and I have no clue where this one went. unsure.gif But, next time (hopefully there won't be a next time) I will remember this. biggrin.gif

iluvmysweetiepies replied: Glad it's gone! I HATE bees! LOL we've been having a bit of an ant problem dry.gif
