These last couple months are rough!
DillsMommy wrote: I'm finally getting to the uncomfortable part. I don't sleep well at night, my poor little toes are getting so chunky, I'm tired ALL the time, my back hurts and I WADDLE when I walk. I've only gained about 25 lbs. so far but I feel HUGE. I feel sooo unattractive. On top of everything, this kid kicks me non-stop!! Sorry I'm venting, I just figured atleast you all would understand. Please tell me it gets better. Yes, I've gone through this before, but right now it's hard to imagine being un-pregnant again! I'm just trying to hang in there, I only have about 2 more months. I'm really hoping I go a week or two early. (as long as he is good and ready to come out, of course)
MyBabeMaddie replied: Ohh yes, I remember those days all too well! Seriously I'm sure you know already but ENJOY YOUR PEACE AND QUIET WHILE YOU CAN! There are times when I'd rather be 200lbs/9months prego/miserable/back pain/ can't move around than take care of a sick/screaming miserable baby.
Calimama replied: I'm sorry hun. Try a prenatal massage, those worked wonders for me the last few stages of pregnancy.
Mommy2Isabella replied: OH GEEZ, Don't remind me, I will be there again soon enough .. ahh the horror. But like Sarah said, I think I would rather be miserable in that situation than a screaming baby ...
Mommy2BAK replied: aww you poor thing, I guess you just made all those feelings come back to me... it's funny how quickly you can forget all the bad stuff once they hand you that precious baby.
boyohboyohboy replied: you just described exactly how i feel down to the letter! I have been trying to take some baths, and have some down time, to just sit, but sometimes even the same position that was ok yesterday is not ok today. i make dh rub my belly and listen to me vent and that helps too.
lovemy2 replied: Hang in there and rest when you can - I always love that bit of advice
And I agree with Bellasmommy10 - a nice massage would be wonderful
CantWait replied: Hang in there.
DillsMommy replied: Thanks girls, I feel better today. Yesterday I was just very uncomfortable and whiney. Sorry you guys have to listen. I know it will all be worth it as soon as I get to hold my new little man. A pregnacy message does sound really good, I could really go for one or atleast a nice looong soak in the tub!
Calimama replied: "Whine" away, although I don't think you sounded too whiny. Seriously a massage will do wonders. Glad you're feeling better today.
indywndy_04 replied: I wish I could say something to help you out, but I am in the same boat...I am cranky and hot...I just cant wait for him to come out so I can sit up straight to drive again, be able to lace my shoes, put lotion on my legs myself and heck, not to have heartburn! HA HA
Good luck girly!!
Mommyof3 replied: With my first pregnancy, I gained 100lbs. I was so swollen with water that I looked like I could pop literally. I wanted that baby out to get back to being healthy (I had EVERYTHING you could possibly have wrong when you are pregnant). It eventually happened, but I understand the swelling. I had to wear slippers everywhere the last month because my shoes didn't fit on my swollen feet! Anyway, hang in there and try and get as much rest as you can!
moped replied: You guys I did forget all that - I mean I remember the last few weeks, but not the last 2 months - now i am scared again - LOL
that baby will be here soon and all will be forgotten!
