They countered again
My2Beauties wrote: Uh these people, they countered right back at what they told us they wanted us to bid in the first place, it was actualy $2950 more, not just $2000, the guy swares he put the 950 part on the end the last time, but he didn't! We're gonna counter again and go up another $1000. You know he had the audacity over $2950 to say, we can't give the house away! People are such butts I swear!
redchief replied: It's a buyers market. I think he'll take your counter.
Kaitlin'smom replied: sorry hun. Sometimes they want every last cent they can get out of you.
coasterqueen replied: I know it's frustrating but you also have to look at it from the sellers perspective. Would you want every last cent you could get if you were the ones selling it? I'd answer that question yes, but that's because I'm not rich and I need every last cent.
gr33n3y3z replied: praying for you both that you get the house
A&A'smommy replied: goodness girl I'm sorry!!!!
CantWait replied: Hope it works out this time.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Hope it works in your favor this time around.
My2Beauties replied: Yes I do, I guess if the shoe was on the other foot I would think the same thing....BUT there was a special on the news last night, it was so weird that this happened, about the market in Louisville right now is so bad for seller's that they need to take every offer they can get and take it into consideration and take it seriously, because there are a large percentage of the houses in this city that have been on the market for over a year !! So, evidently their agent watched that special because he called our agent today, asked for our pre-approval letter and said when he meets with them today about our counter-offer he is going to do everything he can to get them to accept it! I hope so!
aspenblue1 replied: I hope it works out. Good luck again.
My2Beauties replied: Another update, they asked for an extension until Monday. Their agent told our agent he is really going to try to get them to accept this offer, we've pretty much offered all that we're going to offer, we're right on the line of what we want our monthly payment to be and personally I don't even want to go a couple dollars higher because I'm sure down the road our payments will go up for tax assessments and what not unless we can re-finance if rates go down in a few years. Oh I so hope they agree to it.
7thHeaven replied: Awww. I'm soo sorry your going through this. Buying a house can be sooo stressful. Hope you get the house!
