They should call it
mysweetpeasWil&Wes wrote: Terrible 18 months!! I mean really, didn't your kids hit the terrible two's waaaaaay before they hit two?? My kids did!! Wesley is deep in this phase...Seriously, I can't do anything without him screaming NO or throwing a tantrum. I put him down and he wants up, I lift him up and he wants down. I give him juice after he asks for it and then he throws it on the floor. He wants to go down in the basement to play, then upstairs again, then to watch a movie in my room, then he wants his shoes on, then off, then he wants pretzels, then cheese, nope then it's juice again..no wait, it's milk...All of this in less than 5 minutes time. HE CAN'T MAKE UP HIS MIND!!! He is so darn cute, and I know when he's all grown up, I'll cry to have this age back, but gosh, he is getting on my last nerve today!! DH and Wil have been gone since Tuesday and I swear it's harder just having the one. At least with two, I have Wil to entertain his brother.
Sorry, needed to vent...............................
Calimama replied: I agree, it starts wayyy before 2! Miabella has those days. Hang in there.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Tanner never went through a serious "terrible" stage and never a terrible 2's stage, but once he hit 3 is when the you know what hit the fan. He was a joyful and wonderful 2 year old really, loved everything about that stage and never did anything to upset me...then the 3rd birthday hit. For him it was/is more of the case of the sassies...forgetting manners, coping an attitude, etc. Unfortunately he has Troy's mouth...sarcastic and argumentative.
luvmykids replied: You just described all three of mine, to a tee I swear it happened on their third birthday, and stopped on their fourth
A&A'smommy replied:
Sounds like MY little miss!!!
Rae it really isn't much fun at all.. I hope he gets through it quickly!!!
lisar replied: Oh yes this sounds like my Raygen. Wants to do everything at one time. And she cant make up her mind for anything.
momofone replied: They should probably call it The Terrible Toddler Years
moped replied: I found 2 quite easy, now 3 - 3.5 is NASTY I tell ya!!!!
austins mom replied: I believe it starts early and never really stops.
My2Beauties replied: Hanna didn't start until about 2.5 and she's still going.....
amynicole21 replied: Nora's deep in this phase now, too. We're learning to ignore her
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I agree 3 is worse than 2!!!
My3LilMonkeys replied: At 4.5, Brooke is just now hitting the terrible 2's. Madison on the other hand, has been in them since about 18 months.
grapfruit replied: My friend said the same thing. Her middle daughter was an ANGEL and then she said literally woke up on her 3rd birthday and it started. Now she tries to give her away. (j/k of course) but she IS trying their sanity.
my2monkeyboys replied: That sounds just like Will!!! The three's were so much worse the two's. Thankfully he's been much better the last few months... I think he's growing up on me....
holley79 replied: Annika has a fit now and again but I haven't seen the full blown terrible twos yet. I'm scared of the threes though, thanks Jen.
