1. Certain smells: CK One, Baby Lotion/Shampoo/Wash, Hubby's cologne , fresh laundry, rose scented things, and certain body wash

2. To hear my daughter's laugh

3. To see my daughter's smile

4. When hubby cuddles me at night

5. A nice long bath

6. When I am off of work

7. When I get paid - LOL

8. Kisses and hugs from DH and DD

9. Ice Cream from Dairy Queen - oh to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!

10. When my house is clean

11. When Hanna learns something new

12. When the rest of my family is happy

2. My children and them learning and growing every day

3. Russells new tooth.....he has 2 now...just noticed this morning

4. A clean house (which mine is not right now)

5. Candles....love them

7. Clean laundry.

8. Freedom

9. good movies

10. Internet of course

The end of summer.
Everyone home (oddly enough) for dinner.
A good day in the office (when I make gains on my piles of work).
Diversions (it doesn't take much, but they help get through the day).
The ocean with a light, cool sea breeze blowing.

The quite moments between Dh and I .... that mean more than talking.

Good grades on all the Monday papers.

When there is no teenage crisis.

When all the animals and kids are fed, laundry is done, dishes done and I can put my feet up and read a book.

When my dad still tells me he loves me.. and his daughter sure is pretty!

When nothing goes wrong at work.

Payday

Good hair day

The smell of my car when it is cleaned out.

When I drive the Truck.. instead of the van. It makes me feel young and sexy and again.. and I love the pipes..

When Tanner calls me Mama Bear or Sugar Momma.. Or for some reason he calls me Sugar Pot pie..lol And it makes me laugh all the time..

When Justin.. actually wants me! And when he is at his Dads and he calls me. He hates the phone so when he calls me.. it means he is missing me.

1) seeing braedon's eyes light up when I walk thru the door after work

2)Tanner's smile..it's infectious

3) when DH cleans the house while I run to the grocery store or take Tanner to Practice

4) hanging out with my dad and suddenly realizing that I love and admire him today as much as I did when I was 4!

5) Seeing Rick do something as simple as kiss one of the kids or help Tanner with his spelling words.

6) Cooking a nice meal completely relaxes me

7) the sunshine makes me very happy!

8) candles lit, hot tub on and a locked bathroom door

9) when DH makes arrangments for a babysitter and plans a night out for us, all on his own

and last but not least:

Used to be- going to a Grateful Dead show. Now- listening to a great recording of one.

That doesn't sound hokey at all! Church always has a calming effect on me too. Unfortunately it is closely followed by CCD, where I teach the eighth grade... *sigh*

right now getting to here my hubby's voice over the phone or read his words via IM make me happy and calm.

seeing my children when I pick them up from daycare.

the fact my boss is gone til Thursday.

that my house is clean-ER that it was last week. My gosh a tornado came through about Thursday and it was horrible.

There is just so many, but those are the things calming me/making me happy right now.

freshly bathed babies & kids
the barfing preschooler who can actually make it to a bucket instead of all over the floor. A much less publicized milestone but one that my carpet appreciates.
