This is a strange thing and has me kind of weirded - out.. but it's neat too

She sent me an email and said Mel.. you were right. 9lb baby girl with dark brown hair and a dimple in her chin.. can you believe that. Everything I dream was true. I have never had that happen before. I mean the baby being big wasn't obvious the Mom didn't get that big and is now probably wearing her pre baby jeans already, and the dark couldve been iffy and the dimple.. the mom nor dad have it but one of the grandparents does.

I am excited but a bit freaked.

Did you know that a child cannot have a dimpled chin unless the father has one? It's a genetic trait ONLY passed on from the father. Does the father have a dimpled chin?

TANNER'S MOM replied: Okay this is weird then cause he doesn't have a dimpled chin.. Here is his pic and u can't see much for the hair he needs to shave off. But the baby's grandpa on the moms side does..

Rocky, I did once hear that about the dimpled chin, but I'd forgotten that piece of trivia. I seem to remember that the trait can pass through a generation but it still comes from the father's side.

Now that we've discovered a new talent in Mel, I want to know what she dreams about me.
