This is the guy that use to stalk me - for like 2 years

I was just looking to see how many were listed under my old home towns zip code....not many,,,,,but one important one. This guy made my life miserable for about 2 years......He even had his mom stalking me.

I think I mentioned my story here before....but I will sum it up again.

When I was 17 my mom decided to move me and my younger sister with her to Illinois....she had a boyfriend that lived there.....Before my mom moved me and my sister, she took a couple trips there to check the place out, get a job and meet people. My moms boyfriend is really good friends with his parents. One night at a social dinner with them my mom was showing them pictures of us...me and my sister. Their son Jed...(stalker guy) asked my mom if she would mind if he asked me out on a date. My mom didn't realize how old he was and said that he would have to ask me.

Anyway, we move to Illinois and I was really relieved when I met him and like 2 years went by and he didn't ask me out. I wasn't interested at all....He gave me the creeps and totally sent my wierdo radar off. I told my mom that something wasn't right about him..His mom would always try to sugar him up to me because she really liked me. She would brag about how he had millions from a settlement he recieved...he was hit by a drunk driver or something. These people were beyond redneck.....Im talking men were not the only ones with butt cracks hanging out in that social setting.....So different from my family. Anyways...we attended tons and tons of social events and family functions and he barely ever even talked to me...let alone asked me out. About 2 years into my moms relationship...they called it quits and my mom moved away, but I decided to stay. I was in a long term relationship and was engaged to be married at the time....So the functions stopped. Meanwhile I opened the paper one time and noticed a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear and register as a sex offender......I told my mom something was wierd about him.

I worked at our town gas station and I hadn't seen him in years. One night he came in and asked me if we sold flowers....I told him we didn't and he left. I didn't think anything of it. The next day his mom came in and asked if I had seen Jed...I said yes the night before I had. She said he is suppose to come in that day to ask me out...I tell her that Im engaged and her response is "well you aren't married yet". Right after she leaves I see him pull into the parking lot. He comes in and asks if I have a minute to talk to him, I said I could talk to him after I tend to my customers....He went to sit in his truck and wait. It was rush hour so he came back in and asked what time I got off and he would come back. I told him and he left. Later he came back and I was so panicked...I didn't want to meet with him. The pizza guy and my best friend Christopher were there with me and didn't want to leave me there alone. I just kept stalling. Finally a police car pulled into the parking lot and he took off......Christopher walked me to my car and I drove home. Me and my then fiancee watched as he drove by our house about 20 times....and thats when it began. The next day my mom went to tea with his mom, she told my mom that we had a date and that I rudely stood him up......That was farthest from the truth.

If he would see me driving, he would follow me to where I was going. It got to the point that wherever I went...he would show up. I even had hiding places in every place in town. They were all pretty aware and would let me hide. The grocery store would let me hide in the back until he left, my friend christopher would stay after his shift was over to hang out with me in the store so I wasn't alone because he would be driving by....He would walk me to my car and follow me to make sure I got home safe.

I could pick his truck out from miles away. One time he even showed up at a tatoo/piercing place about 40 miles from our hometown....just to try to talk to me...I totally ignored him and my mom talked to him.

Meanwhile I have his mom comming to my work every other day trying to get me to date him.....When I called off my engagement she just had to point out that there was no ring on my finger.

Finally I moved out of town and he didn't know where I lived. But it just started in other ways. One time my friend called me and asked me if I had been arrested. I said No. She said that his mom came in to where I use to work and told everyone that me and Jed got married and I charged up all his credit cards and stole some checks....I got arrested........

I use to babysit for his brother Shane and he was really nice....He finally told him and his mom to back off.

I haven't heard from him in a long time ....thank goodness.....I hear little wierd things that his mom tells people from time to time...but it is all bs.

There weren't many dots in my hometown.....and not very many here either. But he was on the top of the one from my home town.

I was just glad that I was reading the paper that day and saw a warrant for his arrest....Otherwise I might not have been so leary.

I agree. If I saw him when I was alone I would be totally freaked out. Scary. Thank goodness nothing bad ever happened and you got away from there.

I talked to our 1 local cop and he said there was nothing they could do unless he actually did something....So I just tried to avoid him at all costs....and just had friends with me alot.
