This isn't a good sign.
PrairieMom wrote: My pants are tight. seriously. I am all of nearly 7 weeks along and my pants are tight. Awesome. want to know whats even awesomer? My mothers comment " Oh man, you are going to get so fat again" . THANKS FOR THE HELP MOM!!!!!!
I gained 70+with Ben, about 35ish I think with Al. I can't wait for my US in 13 days to make sure there is truly only one in there. Seriously, I can totally feel a slight difference when I hug DH. Already.
Mommy2BAK replied: I think you'll be fine. Oh and why so scared of having multiples... I mean it's soooo easy
cameragirl21 replied: Sounds like twins...I love twins.
coasterqueen replied: Ahhh, it's just that major bloating you get in the beginning. It's not a sign you'll gain a lot.
A&A'smommy replied: I agree I did this with Autumn, and 35lbs for as tiny as you are isn't bad at all.
PrairieMom replied: SHUT UP!!!
danahas4monkeys replied: Four is a good number!
PrairieMom replied: I hope so. I am pretty bloated esp today, but that doesn't explain why i had to wiggle and jump around to get my pants up over my thighs.
Al asked me this morning when I was dropping her off at preschool , "is this your belly grow? "
I may be breaking out those maternity clothes sooner than I thought.
bluebear replied: You never know!
PrairieMom replied: Again with the SHUT UP!! y'all don't understand, I am a planner. Big time. I didn't plan for 2 more. Just one. that is what I will get.
cameragirl21 replied: Twins...I'm sending twins vibes your way, here's to twins for Tara, you can name them Eartha and Terra. I'm blowing double the stardust for the double the wish so you can double your pleasure and double your fun, Tara! Here's to twins for Tara...oh wait, do I hear triplets? Twins are twice as nice but triplets are even better because they're thrice!
PrairieMom replied: you suck. If it happens, I am blaming you , nd you can fly your happy heiney up here to help me paint 3 separate bedrooms, then you are taking pictures of the whole family.
wait.... this is sounding good... maybe 2 wouldn't be so bad...
cameragirl21 replied: mmm hmmm, and that's why I'm not knocked up. Sorry, that probably doesn't belong in this section but I couldn't resist that one. How about this--if you are having multiples, I absolutely will fly out to you and take pics of them, especially if there are triplets, I've never photographed triplets and I would jump at the chance. So bake em at three for the price of one and you've got yourself a deal.
PrairieMom replied: omg. OK. Its a deal. If I have 3, you can take pics. Promise. Just don't bring any creepy crawlies with you, no scorpions and what not.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: OMG! dirty, dirty girl.
bluebear replied: This thread is too much~
I'm not sure if the doctors do this very early in pregnancy, but did they tell you if your numbers were high or not? Sometimes multiples can be determined from high numbers.
CantWait replied: Loooooooove it. Tara's gonna be a fattie LMAO
Hey Tara, you still have another 8 months to plan for Twins, so get planning. You may need to
MommyToAshley replied: What? Tara did you say you were hoping for twins? How cool that would be!
Insanemomof3 replied: OMG Jennifer, that was too funny. \ Ok Tara now I am hoping for twins for you so you can get her out there to take pics!!!!
moped replied: I was in mat clothes full time by 8 weeks with Laila, it happened REALLY fast, but I didn't gain nearly the weight I did with Jack, so I guess I am no help. Sounds like a very good sign to me!
PrairieMom replied: I had to resort to using the rubber band already this afternoon. Shamefully. I do feel so much better tho. My innards were being all constricted all day.
Calimama replied: Wow already!? Maybe you will have B/G twins.. it'll even things out perfectly.
luvbug00 replied: Jen that was GREAT!
aww Tara your so tiny twins or not you'll still be the size of a 18 year old...lucky!
bluebear replied: What's that?
Sending 1 baby vibes your way, if you're having twins you will probably not get your May baby!
my2monkeyboys replied: So true, Jen, so true!
I think you are going to be beautiful Tara... and for what it's worth I was in maternity clothes by about 8 weeks with Waylon. TONS of bloating!! I 'showed' very early but still only ended up gaining a total of about 20 lbs (can't remember exactly right this minute). So showing soon doesn't mean you'll be a big ol' fatty, but even if you are it doesn't matter. You're baking a beautiful baby in that sweet belly and you can worry about the weight after s/he gets here.
PrairieMom replied: you loop a rubber band through the button hole on your pants and then put it over the button so you can add a little extra space around your waist band. http://www.flickr.com/photos/reebob/3573331375/
punkeemunkee'smom replied: It's your 3rd pregnancy and they say your uterus just knows what to do....when we get pregnant again I will probably be in maternity clothes by the next morning!
