Those who've used Pureology Nanoworks
luvmykids wrote: Have you found anything else you like just as much? I love, love, love the nano because it's honestly the ONLY shampoo/conditioner that really made such a difference in my hair....I have puny hair and the nano gives it awesome body, volume and shine. The only problem is I can't justify forking over the money ($100 for the shampoo/conditioner) so I'm looking around for something else just as good (although I doubt anything is )
moped replied: Well you turned me onto nanoworks and I haven't quit - I hate the money part, but I buy it faithfully.
Have you tried the HEMPZ shampoo and conditioner - that is a very close second for me!
moped replied: Here is a link
http://www.sleekhair.com/hempz-hair.html
luvmykids replied: Thanks for the link I think I'll try it, I trust your judgement
Isn't the nano AWESOME?! I just have to get through another few months and I'll be back to my old faithful
moped replied: Yes it really is but that price is painful!
I really like the hempz...try it!
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: Holy #$%^ !!!!!!!!!!!!
moped replied: Yes but soooooo worth it
Well and I am fairly much a materialistic, self absorbed princess, so i NEED it right?
KIDDING - totally kidding
luvmykids replied: ROFL......I am so not a materialistic princess, but I can admit, I DO NEED IT
moped replied: Have you used the regular pureology? I don't like it as much but you might, I have thick hair....
luvmykids replied: I tried the Hydrology (is that what it's called, in the pink bottle?) and it didn't do it for me. I have fine AND thin hair
I wish they'd make a perfume with the nano scent
moped replied: Well then I think you will like Hempz.....it has that same pure like smell......ya know
luvmykids replied: I just ordered it, I can't wait. I'll let ya know how I like it
moped replied: Oh good - I hope you do like it - if not it isn't my fault.
mckayleesmom replied: Man...I thought my Infusium Repairology was expensive.......I love it though
ZandersMama replied: Holy crap! I feel guilty when i fork over the 5$ for dove shampoo rather then get the 2.99$ fructis stuff.
hoosier momma replied: You might try Big Sexy Hair. I have really fine hair and gives me lots of body.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ditto!!
I get the Down Under naturals with the papaya scent... 3.99 each for huuuuuge bottles.... lasts forever, considering I only shampoo/condition my hair two or 3 times a week....
:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: I couldn't imagine spending that much on shampoo/conditioner. I feel guilty spending 5$ because I buy shampoo that no one else in my family uses.
Brias3 replied: I also love the Pureology lines, but can't justify spending that much most of the time (key word here is "most" ).
Monica, I know you already have the suggestion for the Hempz products, but another one I really seem to like that's relatively inexpensive is the Bumble and Bumble shampoo/conditioner sets. I have thick hair and have good luck with either the seaweed or the creme de coco varieties, but my mom has thinner hair and she really loves their thickening shampoo (the alojoba one is good for volume too).
