Time Change

coasterqueen wrote: I about put my shoe through the television this morning when our local weather girl said "set your clocks back one our saturday evening...you are going to get an extra hour of sleep this weekend". Uhhhhhhhhhhh, she apparently doesn't have kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about you but I'm pretty confident I won't get that extra hour of sleep. rolling_smile.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: your not alone, I dont think I will get it either.

A&A'smommy replied: OH crap me either sad.gif I was wondering when this was going to happen dry.gif

5littleladies replied: Yeah setting the clocks back means that instead of getting up at 7 or so, my kids will get up at 6 or so. NOT A GOOD THING!!!!!! rolleyes.gif

MomofJandB replied: As crazy as this is, I am looking forward to the time change ONLY because it'll get dark earlier, which I also know sounds crazy. My reason is because the weather has been so nice, not a bad thing in itself, that my kids want to play until dark (around 6:45), which in turn makes the rest of our evening crazy with dinner, homework, baths, piano practicing, etcc and trying to get them to bed by 8:30. It's just easier for me to get the necessities done! Selfish, I know, but it may keep me sane! blush.gif

paradisemommy replied: too bad you guys don't live in hawaii..we don't play with everyone else when they do the time change... wink.gif

My2Beauties replied: I won't get that extra sleep neither believe me wacko.gif

MomToMany replied: Ugh, I KWYM! Another hour for the kids to be up. They'll hear about that and want to stay up later!

No extra sleep here, LOL!

TANNER'S MOM replied: This is weird, but my husband usually gets off at 6, but on Saturday he has to work until 6:30! Because the want it to be fair for the next crew coming, and they are having the hour! He hates that, He says that will be one time when 30 minutes seems like 300.

MomToJade&Jordan replied:
LOL!!!! No we don't. It just means that those who live on the East Coast will be 5 hours ahead of us instead of 6. Man I'm really going to miss that when we get stationed somewhere else.

redchief replied: Ahh but it's the ILLUSION of the extra hour of sleep that we all need wink.gif

Josie83 replied: I had forgotten about that! An hour of extra sleep yeah right, it just means Sunday will be the longest day ever! xx

kimberley replied: LOL Karen! you are one cranky pg lady... throwing shoes at weather people, shooting a baseball team... remind me not to get on your bad side! rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif j/k

i never forget the time change since it is always the weekend around my birthday... and yes.. it is purely an illusion.
