Today is a GOOD day!!! just back from OB!

Boys r us wrote: So I know this is no big deal ..but to this mama who has already had TWO babies at 37 weeks and am now 38 weeks with my 3rd and have had NOOOO PROGRESS and am beyond frustrated over it...I AM EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got back from the dr and last week in his notes he wrote that I my cervix was closed and long and thick. This week, I'm 50% effaced and 1cm dilated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He said given that this is #3, he thinks it will go fast from here and I may not make it to my induction date next week!! He wants to see me back on Tuesday just to make sure everything is still going okay and give me 1 last exam before I'm induced on thursday. So..we'll see...but he said I'm definitely inducable now and repeated that as low as she is and with the progress already started he isn't sure he'll see me again in his office! I'm not so sure and CERTAINLY not counting on it! i'm just excited that I've made some progress on my own so that I CAN be induced thursday!

Let the count down begin!!!
