Today's appointment - Wasn't to good:(

Good news is she is head down! So I won't have to worry about a C-Section. So I guess that is it until my next appointment. Unless I have her before then.

I hated going in to be checked every week. It really did hurt. You never know about babies. You could be at zero to 10 in 3 hours or less! When she is ready...she will be here. Your doc didn't mention induction?

3xsthefun replied: Yep, your right she will be here before we know it I guess I was just alittle dissappointed. That is why I hate to have internal's. I am getting a bit uncomfortable. But not to terribly bad.

No, the doctor didn't say anything about induction. They'll probably say something about it at my next appointment. If not I'll ask them how far over my due date they'll think about inducing labor.

MommyToAshley replied: I was going to say the same thing, it sounds like he stripped your membranes. But, shouldn't he have consulted with you about this first? I would be upset if my Doc did that without telling me!

A&A'smommy replied: awwww im sorry....maybe next week you will be ready to have your baby girl!!! It realy wont be long now!!! this just gives you extra time to prepare for her physically and mentally!!!

supermom replied: ITA with M2A - and that was my thought too - that if it hurt, he probably stripped your membranes, and if he did he should have asked you first.......

But hopefully, it will be no time at all. I wasn't very dialated and a week later, even though they induced, I was still pretty technically in labor.

amynicole21 replied: After my doc stripped my membranes I ended up losing my plug... keep an eye out for that. Of course, it didn't start labor or anything I hope you don't have too much longer to wait... try to avoid induction if possible though. Just my opinion, but I believe babies come when they are ready. I was induced, but I don't think I'll do it again if I have the option.

3xsthefun replied: You know what you all are probably right, I thought about that myself. But he didn't say that is what he did. He just said he was trying to get things going. Of course that is probably what he meant. And yeah it hurt pretty bad. I wish he would have told me before he started doing it. Oh,well maybe it will help some.

Maybe something will be happening by next week. Least I hope. I really don't want to be induced.
