Trip to the US - hopefully

We're planning that we'll be able to fly into NY in the middle of the week and we'll drive to Connecticut and spend a few days plus the weekend seeing our old friends and neighbors. Then DH will go to Rochester, NY to help install a machine there for a few weeks.
I'll hang out at my friends house in CT. Her daughter and Lucas grew up together and they still ask about each other all the time. Then they will take me to the airport and I'll fly to Denver and spend time with my mom and aunt. While there we plan on driving to Oklahoma to see my sister and some old friends from school maybe.
DH will meet me there after he's finished with the machine and hopefully will be able to take 2 weeks of vacation at that point so we possibly can be there for one month total. I'm just so excited! It's been 1 year, 5 months and 6 days since I've been in the US.

Nope, it looks like this is a permanent move for us. DH would have to get a heck of a job offer to make us even consider. The kids are getting really attached to the extended family here and I don't even want to think about moving them away from Grosspapi.... their world would end.

This is such a familiar memory for me- I used to look so forward to coming back to the US on visits, it totally kept me going!
