Julie (jem0622) replied: Drum roll please.....I took two weeks off from weighing myself. And a week ago yesterday I added exercise on top of changing my diet.

Start (1/2): 198
Current: 179
Goal: 160

booey2 replied:
thumb.gif Congrats on you loss, sometimes it helps to take a break from the scale and the payoff is awesome.

booey2 replied: Hi, well I lost all that I put on last week so... down 3.8 pounds this week. Gonna keep on doing what I am doing and will hopefully lose more next week.

Julie (jem0622) replied:

Congrats to you!

jcc64 replied: Well, done with week 1 of the South Beach diet, which I'm loving, btw, and I can't say exactly how much I've lost b/c I deliberately didn't get on the scale at 1st. But, I've exercised religiously, haven't cheated once, had no alcohol or sugar or refined carbs of any kind. My pants are looser and I feel great. I have a good feeling about this one. Congrats to all of you "losers" this week! laugh.gif

coasterqueen replied:

coasterqueen replied: Well, all week I was a pound less than last week, but I got on the scale today and I weighed what I did last week sad.gif I should have known dry.gif

So I am still at 135.5

Start: 132.5
Now: 135.5
Goal: 129.5 to 125

I hate exercise, I seem to be gaining more weight with it. I know, I know, I gain muscle though, but it's still not comforting when the scale is going UP. That's not very good motivation sad.gif

booey2 replied:
Hugs and hang in there, once your body adjusts to the extra exercise you will start losing fat again. A maintain is always better than a gain. Congrats on the exercise I am still trying to add more to my life. Last week I got in 1 45min session of yoga, 1 30 min bike ride and a half hour walk with hubby and the kids. Keep up the good work.

Julie (jem0622) replied:

ITA! You didn't gain! And you've come so far! Maybe you need to get your heartrate up for a longer period? You are right muscle weighs more than fat...so don't be too hard on yourself. And really try to work on drinking your water. I know it's hard, but maybe make that your goal.

Your metabolism needs a challenge! I have to challenge my slow putzy metabolism daily wink.gif

~CrazieMama~ replied: I am not liking my scale... I am holding at 169.5. I am doing my aerobics and I was able to bring home an exercise band from the instructor. We will be able to buy them from her when she gets the box she ordered. But anywho.... I have been doing my crunches and squates and such and seem to be losing but like Karen, the scale is not going down. sad.gif

booey2 replied:
Hi great job, as I mentioned to Karen, as your body adjusts to the increased or different activity you will start to notice the scale going south and like it again. I would love to stay the same some weeks, it is defintely better than a gain. Keep up the great work. thumb.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: Well I am going to take some time off from the scale, with the new water intake I started and some exercise I am doing I dont want to get dissapointed and quit.

CONGRATS to the Looses and to thoes who maintained!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Well I gained 2 lbs last week and got so mad that I drank more water, did more activity, and became a stickler about my points. I lost 5lbs. LOL!!!! At this moment I am retaining some water so I am going to drink some. Last weekend was bad so I don't know how next weigh in will be. Congrats everyone keep up the good work!!!!!

CantWait replied: WTG everyone on the losses thumb.gif Keep up the great work.

maestra replied: I'm at 267, down a total of 22 pounds, but we've been bad the last few weeks- I know I could have done better. dry.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Congrats to all those that maintained or lost! thumb.gif

I gained 1 pound, but AF showed up. mad.gif I have started excercising more, and I do feel better. I just need to drink more water, I haven't been too good about that. blush.gif

MilMunchMOM replied: dry.gif uuuuugh! I have been avoiding this post. I have not lost in two weeks I am the same and should be greatful i didn't gain rolleyes.gif I know, I know but I want to fit into my size 10 jeans REAL BAD!!!!!!

kit_kats_mom replied: Congrats guys! Lots of losses and stables!! Great job ladies. thumb.gif

I weigh in tomorrow and will post my results.

kimberley replied: Congrats to all the losers and maintainers! thumb.gif

i am still stagnated at 144/145 sad.gif but i didn't expect much loss this week. i just can't seem to get motivated to work out and if i do, Jade wakes up rolleyes.gif maybe if we ever get warmer weather it will motivate me more.

MomToJade&Jordan replied:
LOL!!!! I have a ways to go before I am looking all hot. When I do get to FL I planning on dressing to the nines and heading to Bullwinkles. I hope you are prepared. rolling_smile.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I believe I have gained... lol I'm at 188.2 this morning.
