Tuesday water - 3/30

Julie (jem0622) replied: I have been terrible today. Maybe 20 oz. Gotta get chugging. I've been ramping up my temp help. Spending too much time doing that! I did pilates this morning.

pinka_star replied: I'm doing bad, like always. sad.gif I'm working on my first 32 oz. I don't know why, but I HATE drinking water (or anything really) in the morning. Anyone else have that problem?

coasterqueen replied: So far today...I've had 16 ounces water, 8 ounces of caff-free tea and 1/2 way through my second 16 ounce glass. I'm a bit behind, but hopefully I will catch up here soon.

I have to drink milk in the morning but after I get to work I can drink water. Thats were most of my weekend problem is I dont drink as much as I should cause I would rather drink milk or caff free, diet pop.....but I am tring to be better and I am getting more used to it.

I can't drink water first thing in the morning or else it would make me sick. I start about 9:30 am and then I'm fine. I usually have milk, oj, or tea before that to get me going. I have more of a problem drinking water at night, though.

If you like caff-free tea, that counts too!

pinka_star replied: I normally can't drink anything until about 3:00pm or I get sick. I guess my body isn't use to all the water. *shrug* Hopefully I'll get use to it soon. I usually have a glass of OJ in the morning with breakfast. And I love caff-free tea so maybe I'll start drinking that in the morning and see if it helps. Then have my water later on in the day. Thanks ladies!

Julie (jem0622) replied: I know I'm posting to the next day, but just wanted to say that I made my goal. I filled my beheamouth mug before I left the office and drank it on the way home (it's an hour drive) and then right up to bedtime. So I got about 80 oz in.

For those having trouble with water...don't forget that Crystal Light counts. So do decaf drinks. I do find that I tend to get my water in if I start early and I can easily chug 32 oz after working out.

On the Pilates...yes...Pilates for Dummies. Highly recommend it. Such a refreshing change from bouncing around and walking. I love walking. Easy to do. Just roll out the door and do it. But Pilates is nice. I also have a video that you do in the home where you walk 3 miles. Good for rainy days b/c you still get your walk in. I did take today off b/c of rain and my ab muscles hurt from the Pilates.
