Tur-toll

coasterqueen wrote: I couldn't resist, had to post this. Last weekend Kylie started saying "tur-toll" (turtle). It is so cute! I don't know why, but DH and I just started laughing in amazement when we heard her say this because for one we've never heard her say it and don't know where she learned to say it, maybe at daycare. And two, it was the way she said it. She's said many words, but this is the cutest one so far. As far as the way she says it.

Yesterday I was telling her babysitter that she was saying that word and asked if they are doing things with turtles and all of a sudden Kylie started saying "tur-toll" repeatedly. LOL. We had to stop talking because she just kept saying turtle and we couldn't hear each other talk. Hehehehe.

Oh and her other new word is "HEY". I guess I've said that word to many times, lol.

Brianna's new word is "nilk" for milk. I guess the "m" is hard to say. Her brother when he was her age, would say "nilky" lol. Kids are so funny.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: OMG! That is so sweet! Maddie has gotten past the first word stage and I miss it. It was so much fun figuring out what they were saying. I wish I would have recorded her talking more DH and I just loved listening to her. I can't wait for Ethan to reach that stage.

I know what you mean about certain words being soo cute how they say it.... I love to hear Ashley say "I don't know" I will ask her where one of her toys are that is put away just so I can hear her say it.

Hehehe. We do that too. We'll try to get her to say certain words just so we can hear her say it. At Christmas time Kylie was scared of Santa and if you asked her if she wanted to see Santa she would put her hands up in there air, shake her head no and say "NO". It was so cute and so funny. DH and I would keep asking her if she wanted to see Santa just so we could see her reaction. We are such MEAN parents.
