P.S. My Ped recommended children's or infant advil for teething. On the really rough nights, it is the only thing that will help Ashley with teething. (We've tried it all -- orajel, teething tabs, tylenol) I've only given it to her twice because I don't like to give meds, but it seems to do the job. Maybe give it a try?
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Thanks! This cold is really wiping her out! She is sooo tired! Her little nose won't stop running and I think she has a mild fever! I tried twice to give her tempra, the first time she gaged and threw up all this flem and the second time she just refused to take it! I am going to have to pick up so Advil she seems to like that stuff better!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I have this bubble gum flavoured Tylenol that Zach doesn't seem to mind... it doesn't have that medecine taste (yeah, I tasted it...much better than Tempra!)
Zach also gags and pukes pretty much every time we give him Tempra.
Do you give Claudia water? If you do, in a bottle, just slip in the syringe beside the nipple in the cornere of her mouth and squirt 1/2 in, then repeat....it's what I do, and Zach dosen't even notice.
Good luck!!!
Mommieto2Girls replied: Awwe poor Claudia, hope she feels better soon. When Maddie gets sick I give her infany tylonol cold, works for runny nose, fever, and teething pain. It seems to help her alot. Keep us posted.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I took Claudia to the Walk In Clinic yesterday and she has an ear infection and pink eye! So she is on oral antibiotics and antibiotic eye drops! Poor little girl! She just hate those eye drops!
amynicole21 replied: Oh no! Sophia had the same thing a month or so ago. It was horrible. Poor thing - I hated those drops, too. It helped if I just kind of snuck up on her and did it, rather than holding her down and opening up her eye. If she's laying down looking up, just kind of drop it in there before she knows what hit her. Also, you can put it in the inside corner of her eye if her eyes are closed. When she opens them it will drip in - as long as she doesn't move so that it drips down her face. Like I said, I HATED putting drops in there!
mummy2girls replied: Jenna came down with a little cold yesterday..she slept through the night though but she is so stuffed up and has a runny nose....
MommyToAshley replied: Poor Claudia! I hope the antibiotics kick in and she starts feeling better soon!
supermom replied: Like Sophia's mom said - we always had really good luck doing the drops in the corner of the eye and letting them go in when they opened it....
Here's to hoping she feels better today - hugs to you all!
