mckayleesmom replied: Wow...so it was the water and not the hamburger? How is your niece doing? I know the article didn't sound good, but I thought you said she was doing better...has she gotten sicker? My prayers to you and your family and especially those babies.
my2monkeyboys replied: I'm so sorry to hear about all of this. This is just horrible. I pray for your whole family, that they may given peace and comfort, and that those left behind are kept safe. I am glad that they are publicising it though, as it may help others.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I'm so sorry to heat this, but at least the public knows now!
mummy2girls replied: WOW! I am so sorry this is happening! I hope Lily will get better and I am praying for you all and Olivias parents as well! (((HUGS))))
luvmykids replied: Do they know the source of the contaminated water? Still keeping you all in my prayers.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Your family is still in my thoughts.
redchief replied: Your family remains in our thoughts and prayers.
Crystalina replied: I just learned when I read this article this morning that they are thinking it's a water source. Last I heard (2 days ago) it was still the hamburger. The CDC went through the list of everything they ate and said it was the burger. If it is contaminated water (I hate to say) it is better news then the meat. The meat could have gotten many people sick. The water would be an isolated incident. I have recieved many emails from other people who have heard of people getting sick from "Wal-Mart" meat. Also e-coli cases from differant areas and states.
I have talked to my Oma and the paper says she is "near death" (from a family member) we don't know who that family member is but I guess she is doing better but still in danger. They are saying she has a 97% recovery rate because they are catching it early. She has contracted cryptosoridius http://www.cdc.gov/Ncidod/dpd/parasites/cr...oridiosis.htm#1 and they have been constantly flushing her system. They cannot give her anitbiotics because that will not kill crypto. They also found the cryptosporidius parasite in Olivia. I have heard that it is virtually impossible to kill it and almost always leads to death but then today they told me that as long as they keep flushing her system and checking her blood platelletes she should beat it. Who knows. One day she's ok the next she's not. One test will be great and a few hours later the same test is "off" or bad news.
