Update on feet...

Like Amy said, they looked like sausages. I was hoping for a little sympathy or a foot massage from him, but he wouldn't go near them. He just complained about his ailments and made fun of me. (he wasn't trying to be mean, he was just trying to make light of the situation b/c he could tell I was upset.) It's a good thing I know him so well.

I soaked them in my massaging foot bath with epsom salt last night, but since I still had to get up to do dishes and laundry, it really didn't help. I am taking it easy today and going to drink lots of water. The salt intake is a big one. I eat waaaaay too much sodium. My BP is fine. I checked it yesterday when I went to the store. It has been so steady this entire pg. I guess I can feel fortunate for that.

With my parents coming in tonight, I have so much to do and DH will die if the house is a mess, but guess what? He is gonna have to get over it b/c I can't exhaust myself. Besides, my mom said she wants to help. I'm gonna let her.

~CrazieMama~ replied: I am glad that you are going to let your mom help you out. Men just don't seem to understand what pregnancy does to a woman. grrrrrr I guess that is why women have the babies and not men.... Anywho, I am glad your taking a break for a little bit.

I felt the same way when I saw mine I was so embarassed, and when he finaly did see them he was so shocked at how big they were which did not make me feel good but he hugged me as asked if he could do anything.

Hey, let your mom help out as much as possible! Mine wouldn't for the life of her! My DH is the same way; he'll tell me so-and-so is coming over and he would like the house cleaned. I say TOUGH! I'll get done what I can, and forget the rest! If they don't like it, they can leave!!

You crack me up!! You are my kind of girl! That is exactly what I tell DH!! I told him our neighbor stopped by last night to check on me and he said "You didn't let her come in the house did you??!!" I said "Yes! I took her all the way through the kitchen out to the garage to show her the furniture I was painting and then I showed her the baby's room." He about died. I finally let him off the hook and told her that in fact I had invited her in, but she needed to finish her walk. This is an elderly lady...as if she cares!!

I was going to clean before mom and dad came, but I just am not going to worry about it right now. If I feel better later I will...if I don't, it won't get done. LOL!

I don't worry about what this house looks like. I have 4 kids, and another on the way. It won't be clean until 2022 !!

ya but the look on his face about killed me almost made me cry it was a look like what is wrong thats so gross. unfortunally he could not do anything for me just let me rest with my feet up, we did not even get into the massage thing cause I dont like my feet touched, I had a pedicure once and it was horrible I could not wate for her to finish.
