Update on me...

mummy2girls wrote: Hey guys. This may take awhile so bare with me and my dribble. sleep.gif

Last Thursday I had 4 kids present in my dayhome. One of the brothers in my dayhome is 19 months old and is extremely aggressive. His brother was picking out a movie to watch and his brother trotted over and started to pull out every movie on the shelf. I stopped hima nd told him he had to help clean it up. Then the phone rang so i ran into the kitchen to grab it and just as i said hello i heard CRASH! i hung up the phoen and rang into the living room and saw that everythjing on the shelf was off. The only thing on it that was breakable was a small figurine. the size of my hand. The older brother was grasping his head saying ouch. i checked the back of his head because that where hje was grabbing it. i saw no cuts or blood. So i went to teh kitchen to grab a cold compress so he would feel better. then when i returned I saw blood. I couldnt figure out where on his head it was coming from. I put one hand on top of his head to tild it forward and i saw dried blood by his ear. I cleaned it and then i lifted my hand off his head and it was covered in blood. I ran and grabbed a clean cloth and held it to put pressure on his head. And within 2 minutes it stopped. So i figured not a bad cut but i still needed to call his mom. i told her what happened and apologized profusely. The 19 month old had shook the shelf( Thank god my shelf is anchored to the wall). she came and took himt o get checked just in case.. and no stitches... PHEW. After the mom came to grab the boys I decided to see who had originally called me. and its aron. So i called him backa nd he was crying on the phone. I asked what happened and he said that his mom had a stroke! So she was rushed to the hospital! The MRI showed she had a HUGE stroke. Her left side is paralyzed and she has splurred speech. She is in the hospital for 2 weeks then has to be transferred to the glenrose for rehabilitaion. Not good!

On saturday evening marcus had spent the night and throughout the night i started to have severe pains in my side. So off to the hospital we go... bladder infection... a nasty one.

Im dealing with a 19 month old in my dayhome that is extremely agressive. This kid bites, pushes, hits, punches, kicks, uses toys as weapons, even hits me. and he even decided to graffitti my white couch with blue felt that wont come out. So now i am terminating as of now! Not a fun thing but he is putting the kids at risk and damaging my stuff!

one good side note though... the ENT doc that jenna's ped referred her too does want to see her after seeing her x-rays. so she has an appointment for feb 23rd at 130pm. so hopefully this all will get fixed soon!
