Update on my cousin - not so good
lisar wrote: They put him in the hospital last night. He went to see the psycologist yesterday and they gave him some anti-depressants and told him not to take them for 2 weeks. He said NO that he needed something NOW and so the Dr decided to put him the hospital. It was the only way he could get help now. I am happy he is being taken care of. But on the other hand I am sad that we cant be there with him. His Mom is flying out there on Saturday to go help him.
I know I am not a religious person but he is, can yall please pray for him. Thank you.
grandma replied: Well atleast he's where they want him and it's probably the best place for him.
lisar replied: Yes I 100% agree that he is in the right place getting help now.
MommyToAshley replied: I know you want to be there for him, but this is the best thing for him right now. I;m glad he agreed to get help. Prayers said.
kit_kats_mom replied: Why would they make him wait to start the meds? Was he already on another med that wasn't working? Poor guy. Psych problems are awful. I'm glad he's getting help and I'll keep him in my thoughts.
lisar replied: He was supposed to go in the field for 2 weeks straight, and the dr didnt want him taking those meds for the first time in the field. Thats all. He has never been on anything ever. I think he has just fallen into depression.
sparkys2boys replied: Well, as hard as it is to him him in the hospital it really is the best place for him right now. I hope that they can help him out of this depression quickly and he can get back feeling better. Im so glad that his mom is going to go be with him to it will help him to know that family is near. Prayers said for you all
lisar replied: Thank you.
I just talked to him, I called the hospital and finally got thru to them. He sounds so darn bad. I think its just cause I woke him up though. He is happy his Mom and his sister are going. So maybe that will bring him out of this.
Thanks everyone for your prayers for him.
Calimama replied: I'm so glad they are helping him. I'll keep him in my prayers Lisa.
CantWait replied: I'm so sorry hun. At least he's getting the help he needs though. I'm saying a prayer for him.
sparkys2boys replied: Your so welcome. You have to remeber that right now will be the hardest for him and you guys to. Day by day though it will get easier for him and you will see him starting to perk up and sound more like himself. It sounds like you are very close to him and I bet it helps him having you to talk to and knowing that you are there for him
lisar replied: thanks again yall. Yall always make me feel better about things.
His Mom and sister have changed there plans, they are flying out of here today. We are trying to get them a flight now.
Calimama replied: How is his wife dealing with all of this?
sparkys2boys replied: OH thats even better that they are going sooner. I bet it will cheer him up alot more to.
lisar replied: His wife is in the field doing combat for 2 weeks. She has no idea whats going on. Last she knew he had a 24 hour pass. She doesnt know he is in the hospital. We have text messaged her to let her know. (they take there phones out there anyways) But she hasnt texted anyone back so she might not have her phone or the battery might be dead. So we cant contact her right now. She is gona flip out when she gets back from the field and his family is there.
Thanks again everyone.
