Update on my grandma

I just talked to dad and he said she is responding better now, she is more alert and they were able to take the tubes out of her mouth already. She will only be in there for 5 days - WOW! Thank you LeAnne. I appreciate it. I'm not so sure that my grandma is going to come home from the hospital this time. Although she's been in and out of one so much this past few years who knows. Her parkinson's plus is slowly killing her and quite frankly some days I wish it would stop and let her go in peace. The other part of me wants her to stay because I've been selfish with my time and she's not seen the girls but a handful of times in almost 3 years and she only lives 1/2 hour away

I'm glad she's doing better. As I've often said, cardiac problems, although obviously very scary, are the best kind of medical problems to have. They are almost always treatable.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for her that her recovery is quick and complete.

And Karen, though I know you didn't mean to hijack the thread, I'm very sorry about your grandma. It's so very hard to watch loved ones fade away slowly, and it's wrenching to secretly wish their passing, but I do know how that feels. I'll be thinking of you.
