Update on us

alice&arik wrote: Hey guys!! Just thought I would stop by and update everyone. I moved back to Minnesota and am just down in Missouri getting the rest of my stuff. It has been a stressful couple months. I got my old job back and found a cheap apartment, it isn't much, but it is alright for now. I will save some money for now. It is only a 1 bedroom so me and Arik are going to be sharing for a year. But that is ok. Arik has gotten so big. And he has started talking pretty good the last 3 weeks. He says "pweese and Kank ku" and if I don't say "your welcome" he will repeat thank you a million times. He knows all the farm animals and what they say. He loves cows and likes to "moo". He also knows all of the Lion King charactors and loves Zazu the most. He can count to 3 sorta, and can sing along with the ABC's. It was crazy one day he just started talking and now he won't quit. I got him a My First Leap Pad for his birthday and he really likes it. He even follows the directions they say. I was worried that it wasn't his speed yet, but I think it hepled a lot with his language. He is really happy to be back at daycare too, and they have a preschool teacher there now.

So other than that, nothing else is new. I am still getting settled in at my apartment since my landlord just bought the building he didn't have much time to do anything to it. So he bought me paint and I have been slowly working on that. It is a longer process than I thought it would be, especially since I can mostly work on it on my days off. But it looks a lot better anyway.

But I think I will be able to post more now, hopefully anyway, now that I have my computer. I am also starting a kick-boxing class this coming week so I am really excited about that, maybe I can get this baby fat off finally.

I will catch up on posts later, but thought I would let everyone know what happened to me. Later!!

I took a kick-boxing class several years ago, I dont think I could walk the next day, its a awesome workout, plus you get some frustration out! lol

Glad to hear things are going better. Wow -- sounds like Arik has really grown a lot over the past few months... what a big boy! I bet those animal sounds are so cute!

Have fun in the kickboxing classes, sounds like a blast. I can't believe how big Arik is getting, that is amazing that he is making all those sounds and talking so well, but then again kids are amazing creatures

alice&arik replied: Hello everyone! I need to get some film developed and then I can post some pics. Everything is still a mess here. I need to get it all organized soon. Arik is so whiny today I just can't stand it. And I am off these 2 days and it isn't how I wanted to spend it, . But I'm sure the day will get better.
