Update on us - pics also

Well, I will be watching a new kid (very temporarily) starting tomorrow. His regular sitter's husband is sick and took a turn for the worse so she need a little time to figure things out. I don't know her but it is just so sad and I pray he will be okay. He is going to assisted living now.

I got to hug Emma yesterday. Her Daddy brought her over when we got home from trick or treat....I'm sure her mom just LOVED that. I, of course, was bawling while I was holding her.

Keegan had his 1st birthday last week. I can't believe how fast the year went. He is so funny. He's trying to put clothes on and got into daddy underwear draw tonight and was putting his boxers on. He also figured out that he can brush his hair..........with a toothbrush.....close He is doing and saying so many new things now. He always puts a smile on Mommy's face.

Our Wizard of Oz theme for Halloween was a success. I made Conner's (tinman) and Cade's (scarecrow) costumes and bought the other two. Here's a pic....

It's nice to have a goofy kid around when the chips are down, huh? They are worth their weight in gold.

Kudos to Dad for bringing Emma over. And about the "new" kid~you just never know. Things that look pretty temporary going in can turn into something permanent pretty fast (ask any foster parent )

What an awesome idea!!!!! The kids were adorable. Some of my co- workers saw the picture while I was reading the message board and were really impressed.
