Vacation Pics (LOTS!) - We just got back from Gulf Shores...

C&K*s Mommie replied: So you were one of the ones with hotel rooms reserved, when we tried to get one at the last minute, every hotel/motel/b&b was booked or overpriced! Glad you had a great time over there. The pics are great!

We are neighbors to the east of Gulf Shores. I love it over there too.

Yeah, we booked about 2 months ago @ the Gulf Shores Plantation Resort. It was GREAT there, and right on the beach! They said they have been VERY busy lately, I guess ppl trying to get away from the heat. It was LOVELY there.

Hope you guys get to go before summer is over!

Brias3 replied: Great pictures! I have to ask....were you near Destin, FL at all? This sounds silly that I recognize a beach but to explain: we are currently in the process of buying a condo there (and selling ours in the South Beach area) and we were down in Destin in June and I could have SWORE that I recognized that go-cart and boat ride thing in your pictures. We took the kids to this place down the way from the complex we were looking in and it looked so familiar, just had to ask! (Although I'm sure most go-cart tracks look the same, huh? )

lol they were about 2 1/2 hours from destin... I LOVE destin its soo beautiful and clean!!!

It looks like they were at "The Track". They have one in Destin also. My mom, dad, sister, brother, grandpa, Shawn, Annika and I all went to the one in Destin Saturday night. It's a blast.

YEP, that was the place!!!! It was so fun there!!! They had 2 different gocart tracks, bumper boats, lots of kids rides & mini golf & an arcade.

I'm 35 wks pregnant so all I could do was play mini golf & in the arcade...boo!
