Valentine's Day...

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Unfortunately I have no plans for V-day. My DH is in Florida so I'm going to spend it with Jade. I guess she's going to be my valentine this year.

ediep replied: Dh and I are going out to dinner Friday night because my sister will be here to babysit. I got a coffee mug made for him with a picture of Jason that says I love my daddy and I also got him an electronic bar mate (has tons of drink recipes) for our new bar in the basement. I found some low carb chocolate (south beach friendly). I am excited to go out to dinner. We haven't been out without Jason since our anniversary in July.

kimberley replied: we kinda had our Valentine's last weekend. we went up to Niagara Falls with the 3 kids and spent saturday and sunday together. we went to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner and the kids were just in awe. it was a great get away for all of us.

saturday i will probably bake some cookies with the boys, order in a nice dinner and we will exchange our cards and gifts.

kit_kats_mom replied: We are joining 3 other couples for my best friends annual valentines day dinner. She whips up yummy appetizers, cheese fondue and chocolate fondue every year for a few couples. We will stay for a little while after dinner, have a few drinks and play Cranium. My mom will be babysitting K.

A&A'smommy replied: as of now we dont have any (at least none i know about) but so far i have gotten him a kitchen aid mixer but he knew about that so now im going to try and surprise him by buying maybe a game if he keeps up his homework (LOL i feel like a mom). I would like to do something but i do\nt want to plan it i want him to learn to be romantic LOL that sounds awful but he never saw his parents be that way towards each other and i think that would have a made a difference plus he had a g/f for like five years and everytime he tried to be sweet or romantic to her she treated him like crap and blew him off so that also made a difference, but he is getting better...oops i am babbeling LOL sorry okay i will stop now...

juliajaj replied: DH is in Arizona this week & won't be home until late Sunday, so we celebrated Valentine's Day last Saturday. This was only the 4th time we've been out since DD was born 18 months ago, so it's like we're dating all over again when we go out on our own. He asked his sisters to babysit, we went to a great little Italian restaurant & then we went to see Cold Mountain (LOVED IT). Since he set up all of this on his own, I've bought him a DVD that he's been wanting as a surprise for when he gets home.

CantWait replied: DH is so not really a romantic and I'm tired of being the one to plan things so it'll be a pretty lonely V-Day. After my birthday I don't expect much.

booey2 replied: No known plans here, DH usually doesn't do much, I usually get a rose and I might get a card. I already have a card picked out for him, I normally don't buy him gifts.

Kaitlin'smom replied: We are taking Kaitlin out to dinner . I have some of my gifts already to, DH just cant waite! he is so silly like that but I guesss I have more comming from what he says. I hope he likes what Kaitlin and I got him. I will let you all know after i get it and give it to him!

jen replied: I am putting together a basket of goodies for DH and we are going to go out to eat somewhere nice that evening. He said he wasn't going to spend a lot of money and I told him that isn't what it is about and he is going to get me something that requires thought!!

coasterqueen replied: DH and I are not going to get each other something except for a card. We are using what money we do have on finishing the basement, which will be for forever! LOL. We did get Kylie some puzzles and a Lion King DVD for V-Day and we all will exchange cards

I bought some steaks at the store and all three of us plan to have a nice dinner at home Saturday evening as a family

Daddy of Schnoogly replied: I got my dinner ingredients. We're going to have whole wheat pasta with marinara and smoked chicken and a salad for dinner. And I got some good wine.

And for desert, flourless chocolate cake, with fresh whipped cream, and strawberries. I even got a heart shaped cake mold.
