Vegas, baby!!!

He's 26 and he's never been to Vegas, I went 3 times in college, my brother and sister missed out. So, we finalized dates and decided on which shows we are going to see. Seeing a show with Dan is totally different from seeing a show with anyone else. He spends the show figuring out how they did things, it's a totally new perspective and really fun.
We're going to Las Vegas January 3-7, staying at the Luxor (in a pyramid room, great deal), and seeing Spamalot and Cirque du Soleil (sp?) Ka. While we're there we are also going to meet up with my friend Brandon for dinner. Brandon moved down there in May and I really miss him. He's also a huge theater buff, so he and Dan should get along great.
4 days on a trip with my little brother. We've never done anything like this and I am so excited! Aaron will be home with Logan, he proved he could take care of him when he took him to Indiana for 2 weeks. My turn for a bit of fun!

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: A few years ago, before Logan, Aaron's dad and step mom went to Vegas, we joined them, they bought us tickets to Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil "O". That was amazing, all the water and the raising/lowering platforms underneath it. I love Cirque.

flirtycuddle replied: I live here in Vegas but have yet to see KA. I hear it's not as good as O but still amazing. I loved Mystere when I went and saw it. Oh yea Spamalot is so funny so you will defintly love it. Hope you have a great time here.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: With Dan in the technical aspect of theater, I'm sure he'll love Ka. And I probably will too. But I did love O. It was an amazing show. And the reviews I've read for Spamalot have been great. I think they are two good shows that we chose. My other choice was Love. But everyone here knows I love the Beatles.

San Diego or San Francisco. Portland or Seattle. Florida, anywhere (we could probably meet up with loads of folks there). I love New Orleans.
