WE ARE HOME - FINALLY

The day after he was born dh came to the hospital not feeling well so I sent him to the ER downstairs and found out he had strep throat, so they started me on meds for it right away also. I don't have it though. Also, Mckaylee has conjunctavitous (sp?) in her eyes. I swear...Im away for 4 days and everyone gets sick . Oh and did I mention that I now have blisters all over my c-section scars? YEP..Im allergic to the sterie strips they used over it. I don't know if anyone remembers when I first joined the board after Mckaylee was born, but the reason I joined was to find out if anyone else blistered or itched really bad after a c-section....well it makes more sense now...Im allergic. That mystery is solved. Other then that everything is great. He is breastfeeding well already and his big sister is in love. She has been so good with him,,giving him kisses and telling him not to "cwy". I will update everyone more later...bye.

mckayleesmom replied: I was very suprised he was a boy...when he came out I said "what...oh man...I thought it was a girl". And that statement was made on some good drugs too...lol. I didn't get to name him. Me and dh had a prior arrangement that I got to have my spelling with Scotlyn if it was a girl and he got to pick the boys name. Russell is his grandfather and great grandfathers name and Nathaniel is his brothers name. Personally I never cared for either. But a deal is a deal and it has grown on me. Russell sounds like an old man name and he is bald like an old man...so it works out.
