The body of a newborn girl was found wrapped in two white grocery bags near railroad tracks in Alhambra on Sunday, police said.
There is NO excuse for this anymore. Do you not understand the English language??? You can DROP THEM OFF AT THE HOSPITAL...NO QUESTIONS ASKED. What is the point in doing something like this? I hope this little angel rest in peace and I hope her parents never sleep again without seeing her little face. ....

The body was found about 12:34 p.m. by Union Pacific employees inspecting the tracks, according to Sgt. Kean Oda of the Alhambra Police Department. He said the baby appeared to be a few hours old and the umbilical cord was still attached.

The rail lines, used by commercial freight trains, are about 40 feet below street level, Oda said. Investigators believe the infant was thrown over a chain-link fence onto the tracks from Front Street, at the edge of a residential neighborhood about eight miles east of Los Angeles.

Police used search dogs to comb the area, Oda said.

The L.A. County coroner's office said the child weighed 4 to 5 pounds and was born alive.

BAC'sMom replied: I don't understand it either girl. There are to many people out there in the world that would take these babies, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I hope people like that burn in h*ll. I know that was harsh but so was the treatment of that child.

mckayleesmom replied: All they have to do is take her to the hospital and hand her to an employee and she would have been safe. My mom works in the Er and she got a call from a girl the other day asking if she could drop her baby off. My mom met her in the parking lot...she didn't even have to go in. My mom said the little guy was beautiful and it was obvious that she loved him alot, but was just scared. It just breaks my heart to read this stuff.......there are options.

fashionmumofboys replied: People are just so friggin cruel. Can they not go to a nearby Hospital and bring the poor newborn there instead of doing cruel stuff to these poor newborns. It so sad to hear and see what people come up with. I hope these parents never have another child again.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I was touched many years ago when in AL you could do that, drop them off at the hospital. The number of murdered/abandoned babies went down dramatically.

Nina J replied: That just breaks my heart Whenever I read about things like this I can't help but imagine if those parents took her to the hospital she could've been adopted and had such a happy life. It's heartbreaking.
I hope the parents are caught and get what they deserve.

3xmommy replied: I know this is religious and many people aren't... but in the Bible, it states that basically "men" (that includes women, it means mankind) will become as dogs. I guess that's happening. It breaks my heart. I can't understand how you could kill your own baby... children are so beautiful and innocent. How does a person see them as otherwise?
