WOW - Sleeping Solution - Stealth Vs Screaming

mom2my2cuties wrote: Well - Yesterday I told you guys about our troubles with getting Andy to bed and sleeping.

Well, I think you were right Brianne - she was getting overtired, I put her down at 830 last night and she was out like a light by 9. But also, we skipped nap time and cut out the soda in her diet. (not even going there on that one - dad seems to think it's ok for her to drink only soda - constant battle in our house)

Well anyway, we didn't make it all through the night, I woke up at about 5 this morning and noticed I was feeling a little bit squished...And what was tucked in next to me, but my girl all snug and sound asleep in my bed with me.

Instead of throwing a fit, she got up some time during the night and snuck into our bed smile.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: awww.... I love the extra snuggle buddies I have in our co-sleeping kids. wub.gif

Glad she zonked for you without a fuss.

luvbug00 replied: emlaugh.gif she snuck in! that's super cute!

mom2my2cuties replied: In all honesty, I wouldn't mind co-sleeping.But that child is a wild monkey of a bedhog! I woke up one night a few weeks ago because she was putting herself UNDER me.

luvmykids replied: Mine have started doing that, I fought it for awhile but now I love those "stealth snuggles". Glad she went down better for you, I have a very small window between the time they're ready to peacefully go to bed and get too tired.

mom2my2cuties replied: I think that is my problem with her. She is tired at around 830 but by 9-930 - she is over tired

Boo&BugsMom replied:
Tanner too. I actually missed having him come in our room about 4am for awhile. He use to sneak in our room and climb on in and fall back asleep, but then he started doing his twisting and turning, putting his feet and arms in my face stuff. I can't handle that, so no more of that here. We only have a queen to begin with.

mom2my2cuties replied: Yeah our rental bed is a queen size. So there isn't room for 2 adults and a squirmy wormy

ataylorm replied: Hey now, that isn't entirely true! You give her more soda than I do by far!

holley79 replied: rolleyes.gif I like snuggling w/ Annika.

mom2my2cuties replied: I love snuggling Andrea - But after 8 weeks I would really like to spend some time snuggling my husband as well.

Andrea has this theory....She wants it to just be her and mommy and will push and scream and throw a fit until dad gets out of bed.

ataylorm replied: That's ok, the couch is softer, and I don't have to share it with two cover hogs... smile.gif * Dunks to avoid flying objects *

mom2my2cuties replied:
I think you can stay on that couch smile.gif

CantWait replied: It's a start, and I firmly believe cutting out the soda is a big start.
Last night Ron gave Anthony a SpiderMan popcicle before bed and he was wired and gave me so much trouble going to bed, which is unlike him since we moved.

Best of luck for continued success. thumb.gif

mom2my2cuties replied: Marie - she was SOOOO funny last night I was gonna lay down and snuggle her to sleep and she kicked me out smile.gif Told me to go potty and when I went to come back in she screamed no until I left and closed the door.

CantWait replied: wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

ataylorm replied: But 2 hours later she promptly came and kicked me out of bed.
