WOW!! - about Grey's Antomy and Desp. Housewives

C&K*s Mommie wrote: WOW!! I have not been so moved watching two dramas on tv, in a good long time.
Watching Grey's Anatomy & Desperate Housewives had done that to me.

I will not spoil it for anyone that did not see it, themselves yet- but I was shocked ( ohmy.gif ) at some of the events in Desperate Housewives, and touched ( sad.gif ) by some of the events in Grey's Anatomy. I will leave it at that.

Was anyone else moved or shocked by these primetime dramas?

gr33n3y3z replied: Wow your not kidding
Ok I have to shut up now lol

moped replied: thumb.gif thumb.gif

luvmykids replied: I don't watch Grey's but DH was juicy! ohmy.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: Yes I was shocked..both shows were great. Dh kept trying to talk to me.. I wanted him to SHUT UP!

AlexsPajamaMama replied: ohmy.gif Desperate Housewives was just WOW! ohmy.gif
I fell asleep before Greys came on blush.gif

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I thought both were great!!! Can't wait for the finales!!

coasterqueen replied: Both were definitely great last night. thumb.gif

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Both were really good last night, especially GA!

C&K*s Mommie replied: While I cannot wait for the season finales, I almost wish they would continue on with the new episodes, and not take that hiatus as all shows do for the summer. I know the writers have cliffhangers at the end of the season, to keep you drawn in and coming back for more at the season premiere, but I am interested to know what happens next with the Bri's son on DH. Waiting months to find out will be suspenseful, but I am sure well worth it later in the fall.

ashtonsmama replied:
There's usually some shocking thing that goes down on that show...I've been on the set of Wisteria Lane, about a year ago before it got all popular, but the set was dead...it was neat though...anyways. I don't watch too much, but when I do, I like it.

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
I DID tell dh to shut up. laugh.gif

I missed the last 3 weeks of the shows... for one reason or another - so I was a little confused... but WOW!

holley79 replied: (It's Monday so hopefully this isn't a spoiler for anyone that has it recorded) I missed DH because Annika wanted to play in the tub. I caught bits and pieces of GA. The ending was what I had hoped for. Dr Hottie had not business going off on Dr Gray though. Oh well. I'm sorry the mommy was lost but thankful the baby was saved. I cried when the dad went in the Dr's room and gave him forgiveness.

My2Beauties replied: I only watched DH, it was so good!

Our Lil' Family replied: I finally got to watch GA last night and I cried like a baby when the dad let the driver apologize! And what nerve McDreamy had!!! Jealousy will make you a mean person!!! tongue.gif

CantWait replied: OK I missed GA last week, WHAT HAPPENED??? Someone catch me up pleassssse!!! popcorn2.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: I will try the best that I can, Marie (bad memory at play here)

There was an accident involving three cars. A surgeon or surgeon's assistant had worked extra long hours, and on his way home had fallen asleep for a split second, at a red light. I assume he hit the gas which hit the car in fron of him, who in turn hit the car in front of them. The four innocent drivers and passengers in the two cars were mother and father & husband and PG wife. Long story short, the PG wife had adrenaline kicking in rendering her alert and seemingly okay. The baby in her womb seemed fine, too. When the adrenaline subsided she went into shock or something. They (the docs) had to perform emergency surgery on her trying to get her revived again. They almost lost her, and had to leave her body open (covered in plastic) while they waited for her body to recover from the surgery that they did. If they waited too long to go back in for surgery she could die, if they went back too early she could die. Eventually they went back in to get the baby, and she and the baby flatlined. They brought the baby back ( smile.gif ) but she died ( sad.gif ). The driver in the first car who fell asleep apologized to the father of the girl. He (the father) forgave him.

Dr. Shepard and Dr. Grey for the "final time" parted ways, and called any possible future relationship off.

I think this is the jist of it. The sad parts were with the mother dying, but the baby being okay (preemie) but okay. A bittersweet moment on primetime tv. sleep.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: Oh and Denny and Izzy..went thru a hard time. Where he talked about what it is like to have his illness. How is a strong virile man..stuck in the body of a sick man. Izzy was so upset and she went to Burk about what to do.. he said we just have to let him have his feelings.. And then Izzy went and got in bed wiht him and snuggled up. He said Izzy can I feel you up now? lol

George finally spoke to Meredith.

George's woman...can't remember her name. Walked into the bathroom with Izzy and Meredith talking..and went pee.. left the room w.out washing her hands. And they told George..which George was like No she couldn't have done that. Come to find out.. she went to the kitchen..b/c she felt them looking at her..lol And she told George you have to take my side..and George really snuggled close to her!

Oh and Dr Hot Vet.and Meridith talked about what made them both screwed up people and shared a great kiss!

C&K*s Mommie replied: Good points Mel! I forgot about those, you had it verbatim from the show. Good job adding on important points.

Our Lil' Family replied:
Alex was the one that did the emergency c-section, so he redeemed himself I suppose! rolleyes.gif

CantWait replied:
Thank you. smile.gif
It's about friggen time, I'm so sick of this stupid story line. snooze.gif
